Okay, Hands in the air, i admit im an Elvis fan.
I recently read that mail for Elvis Presley is still delivered to Graceland.
I also read that he also still pays tax , in his own name.I find that odd.
I dont know if he"d be alive now, but i wonder if he lived post 16th August 1977 ?
Theres a hell of a lot of sites with circumstancial evidence as to why he"d want to "disappear".
I think that if he faked his own death, it would be the story of the century, & if he later dies(died) of natural causes, would the Graceland Estate tell anyone ?

I am an Eliv fan too. In fact I sitll have a ticket to the concert he was supposed to perform in Asheville, NC, but he died 10 days before. I was 14 at the time and I had worked babysitting and doing odd jobs to pay for my plane ticket to NC to go with my Aunt and couisins. I have a huge album collection that has some first cuts of many of his albums. My middle son was born on August 16th.

I think he is really dead though. He enjoed what he did way to much to just stop and never perform again. If he was alive I think he would be singing somewhere.

I do think elvis is dead but i think and i believe thats tupac is still alive. Hope hes coming back at 07/07/07 if u can believe the 7 theory

He would have been absolutely recognised by now - unless he had extreme plastic surgery to make him look like a cat person or something equally alarming, I think you'd still see that twinkle in his eye.

Growing up as a kid, he was/is always THE KING ROCK N' ROLL...i liked him especially in his late 30s(come back tours)when he became a 'rebellious badass', but as sad and embarrassing as it was/is i think he did die on the crapper.

Cool thread. I saw some show. They stated the elvis' name is actually spelled WRONG on his tombstone. Elvis Aron Presley as opposed to the CORRECT spelling Elvis Aaron Presley. That kind of made me wonder. Way hasn't the family changed that...damn it would be the FIRST thing I DID if it was my family.

Well, when I first heard about Elvis's death, about six months later, some man was claiming that Elvis was alive and well and living up here in Oregon in a trailer. I thought this sounded too outlandish, and the man claimed that Elvis needed to get away from it all, he needed to step out of the limelight.

I heard that Elvis, despite all his money and fame, once said that he felt something was missing in his life but he didn't know what.

But until I get further proof he's alive, I'm going to presume he is not still living at least on this planet.

i think it is a possibility that elvis is alive...think sbout it:

there are billions of elvis impersonaters and he could just blend in...with a little plastic surgery...

I do know that he was tired of touring relentlesly, & was on the verge of bankruptsy due to spending/giving away money & lavish gifts. The year before his "death" , he took out a $350,000 loan against Graceland.
Also, his record sales had dropped significantly in recent years.
Which begs the question: If his record sales werent doing too well, why did RCA have tens of thousands of extra albums pressed "BEFORE" Elvis "died" ? Were they expecting a sudden surge in sales for some "unknown" reason ?
