It was about three years ago, I had really wanted a puppy. A woman had told me that if I asked all of the Gods and Goddesses for something, depending on what it was, I would get it. Anywho, being skeptical, I procrastinated on the whole "asking the universe" concept. I asked, "May I please have a puppy? I beg of you, from all Gods and Goddesses, please give me my own puppy. I want it to be MY own."
A few weeks later after asking that, my brother and his girlfriend suddenly decided to get a puppy. It was a part husky/part pitbull mix. Anywho. We had a special attachment for some reason. Every night I would go to bed, he would come in the room, jump in my bed, and push his head between my outstretched arms. He would lay there until I got up, and he didn't like sleeping with my brother (it was his dog, of course) for some reason. One time, my dad had left the dog outside because he didn't really want the dog in the first place. He wouldn't let me outside to get him, and I started getting really mad and upset. I started getting a little tearful because it was cruel of him to leave it outside.
I went to my window, and he was in the neighbour's yard. "Rocco, go to the front door, buddy. Come on, go! Go to the front door!". The puppy didn't even know what the term "front door" meant. It surprised me, because he ran out of the neighbour's yard, around the fence surrounding the front lawn, and to our front steps. He was sitting, waiting for me to open the door. Anyway, nothing really special happened after that. He died in February of 2005. He was barely a year old...
Anyway, I'm still kind of skeptical about the whole "asking the universe" concept. What are your opinions on what happened?

I liked that story and I'm sad Rocco died.
Honestly, I think my dog can read my mind.

Lucky chance I'd say. Dogs are smart, has he gone out of the front door before? Maybe he knew that's how you got in or out.

I agree, it probably was just a lucky chance.

It was still kind of cool, nevertheless. I really like your avatar; Revolver Ocelot was my favourite character in the Metal Gear Solid series. At least, when he was younger. When he got older, he lost the "cool" ranking... Liquid began to take over him.. it was weird.
I thought it was funny in Snake Eater, how him and his Ocelot unit got owned by Naked Snake, or "Big Boss". CQC FTW!!!

Dogs quickly figure out the best way to enter/exit a house
Dogs a highly tuned into your energy/body language, its how dogs communicate with each other.
Your telling your dog things you dont know about, just from the way you walk, your posture and the way you relate to your dog.
Dogs cant not read minds.

A little tale for ya .... A few months ago my grandmother died of old age. I wasnt living in my home town anymore so when I got the call I wouldnt be able to leave where I was to drive back until morning. We own a German Sheppard, and have all my life, and when I sat down in the chair to tell the other guys the news, the dog ran for me and jummped in my arms and wouldnt stop hugging me. No matter what I done all night she was less than a step behind me - This dog could care less about whats going on around her and rarley moves for anything... so for that particular evening she stayed right by myside and whenever I sat, she got up in my arms and hugged me. So I guess they are truely man's best friend, espacially when theyre needed

.
Cheers,
Gene

It's possible. I do believe in psychic connection.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
I'm sorry that Rocco came and went so fast and that your father didn't understand how important the dog was to you.

Ahh, it's okay. No point in grieving about an animal that's been gone since 2004.
