Recently, i have had alerts which are designed to look like windows alerts telling me to dowload a certain antivirus to get rid of spyware which doesn't exsist. I ran ad-aware SE and NOD 32 but nothing is found, can someone give me advice.

I'd start with Ewido online scan and Spybot S&D. Run them both at least twice. If you're still getting them, it might be more serious. Have you tried an antivirus? Sounds like spyware/adware, but wouldn't hurt to check for viruses also.

Yes I can help. Do not download these helpers. They are part of the virus called spyware.

Unfortunately, Formating was my only way to rid my self of this. You can sue the mfg. if you want...for harmful viruses.

Get a Mac.
