VENUS & SATURN: Saturn and Venus are converging in the sunset sky for a beautiful close encounter this weekend. At closest approach on Saturday, June 30th, the two planets will be a mere 2/3rds of a degree apart. It's a pretty sight for the unaided eye, and a great target for backyard telescopes. This is what is happening with the terrorist bombings around the world. Watch Tuesday and Thursday of next week. Above is listed near earth objects. These are small but they are moving and displacing areas all around them. There is no space in space and these objects disturb the gravitation between planets. Tuesday will not be as bad as Thursday, but Thursday is July 4th and you know what happens around July 4th. The object that date will be between earth and mars 7.6 times the distance between the earth and moon. Just watch and pray for the people!

Err...'gregg' you are aware that an LD (Lunar Distance) is apx. 384,000 kilometers and an AU (Astromnomical Unit) is apx. 150 million kilometers? The objects listed are going to miss the Earth.

No, gregg, this is what is happening in NE space. It has nothing to do with terrorist bombings...which take place every day, no matter what the universe is doing.





On July 4th, people take off of work and send off bunches of fireworks...in the U.S., that is.
Nothing else happens.

MB4 is a small rock (relatively speaking, which will pass about 1.8 million miles away from the Earth on 7-4. It's gravitational effect on Earth is sub-microscopic, just as is the gravitational effect of any other small NEO that has been seen closeby the planet.

What are you attempting to say here?
Perhaps that there will be some Earthbound religio-political mania (other than that which occurs every single day, that is) which results from an occurrance which will have no effect on anything...save perhaps the astronomers who will be watching these things, if they can????

I'm thinkig (??) Gregg might be suggesting that some might see these and think "Alien UFO's" or a "Fleet Of Alien UFO's"??? I hope. They might even show up on certain military deep space radar and some will go - "See!! Nothing travels this fast..." *Suggesting "alien Ufo's* Maybe??? As for the "Terrorist" focal point - I'm not even sure where that fits into the situation at all...

I think it is clear that it takes a real stretch of the imagination to describe the object as being "between Earth and Mars". I suspect this is most likely the result of a lack of understanding of the distances involved and the orbits of the objects. If, however you still consider "between Earth and Mars" a valid description then I feel that I should point out that at just after 3pm GMT 2007 MB will cross the orbit of Earth and using greggK logic would have to be described as being between the Earth and Venus.

You are claiming "There is no space in space and these objects disturb the gravitation between planets." (the individual words make sense, but when placed in that order the actual sentence doesn't). If this really were to have any effect on events on Earth (which it doesn't) then there would be more to worry about than these small asteroids. How an object's gravitational field acts on you is dependent not only on the mass of that object but on the distance. If there were any truth in your nonsense then we would have to worry every time the International Space Station passed over head.

I live in a city that has been the victim of terrorism on a regular basis (most recently this past Friday). These attacks have nothing to do with small bits of rock in space and everything to do with human intolerance and hatred.

My final point is this, greggK, what exactly does this have to do with Venus and Saturn? Apart, that is, from the table you copied (without a source link) being on the same page of Space Weather that Jj linked to.
