Aztec Warrior
The greatest book I have ever read is James Redfield's ...........Celestine Prophecy..... I think I have read it six times. It completely changed my life and reminded me that I can always change my own destiny.

Anyways, I need all my friends to send me the energy to achieve my goal of University Professor. I have just one or two more tasks, including the instruction of a sample class and a final interview. With the energy of my friends, coupled with some luck...I should be able to achieve this life time goal. Please just wish me luck for Wednesday, my first University level class................my first class ever!

Please send me your energy................I await each and every of your reply's.........I love you all. Well, not everyone.

AAAWWWW, Shucks blush.gif , LOL. But seriously, I love that book, and whenever I read it over again, I feel a slowing down in my life and a new focus for my energy. I am really trying to curb all outside aggravations and just live my life as full as I can. I truly believe in the sharing of energy, for when you think of it, was is praying? It is a focus of the worshipers energy to either their God or what they want from him/her. Hopefully all this positive energy really comes through to you Aztec, you will have to let us know if we helped! grin2.gif

I think in about the 6th chapter, where they begin to discuss the energy transfer between plants and humans..............that is something. Sure, I love the first part about coincidences.......that's great too. And how one can manipulate the coindencidence in life with energy.........that is so true....don't you think?

It was always happening to me, like thinking of a person and they would call. And then I read the book, and it fit into that part/time of my life. I do agree with the energy transfer between plants and animals and wonder if this doesn't have something to do with why so many people are lost and looking for something in their life. In cities, how many people will go to parks to just sit and relax? Why? I think that we are more closely related to nature than others believe. Maybe we are symbiotic and need to reestablish that connection to be truly happy. I know that I am way more at ease living in a rural area where I can work in my garden or just go sit under the trees.

That is the beauty of the book, although it is basically fiction. It defines a certain reality that many of us already realize......that there is more to the world. After completing the book, I went and visited the pyramids...although not Machu Pichu........but the energy is there, in plants and other pyramids....like those around me in Mexico . I changed my life.......just like they said was possible in the book.

But I am not yet invisible...........yet........................I need more energy. But of course, I feel becoming a Professor will suffice prior to disappearing into invisibility........that is for later.

I am so jealous! I'd love to see those pyramids. I so want to travel and see the amazing things our ancestors built. Where I live we have some very old forests, and I love to just go for walks, I always feel better even if they are short ones. And I'm not sure about turning invisible, I wouldn't want to leave my little girl behind! But, we will see what the future will bring. And if you can awaken your student's minds by making them more aware of the world around us, well, it would be an amazing feeling, I would think.

I believe I have achieved at least the 7th Insight.

The Seventh Insight... Engaging the Flow
Knowing our personal mission further enhances the flow of mysterious coincidences as we are guided toward our destinies. First we have a question; then dreams, daydreams, and intuitions lead us towards the answers, which usually are synchronistically provided by the wisdom of another human being.

The Eighth Insight... The Interpersonal

At least from my perspective, the one of a dude who is currently studying at the university, there are two kinds of memorable teachers: those that help their students open their minds and those that make their students laugh constantly, be it by their jokes, their attitudes and sometimes even their own persons. The ones that just teach facts and then get out of the classroom may not be bad teachers, but certainly not memorable ones.
Obviously, it's easier to open their minds if you teach them something like philosophy than something like magnetism. I know that this whole "opening their minds" thing can sound a bit esoteric, but it consists mostly of showing them that not everything is at it seems, that there's always two sides of an argument and so on. And for the jokes, I'd say improvise. If you feel like telling a joke, say it, but don't think "and in this moment I'm gonna tell the joke", unless you've seen it work before.

Just curious, what are you going to teach mate?

I was there, then lost it. I had, ahhh, can't remember which one(the personal relationship one where one member of the couple steals the energy of the other one, too lazy to go get the book right now.)kind of sap my energy and now I am starting over. I had a rotten day today, so my energy is at an altime low, I need to go sit out in the rain and just appreciate life, but in reality I must make supper.

You know, I needed to remind myself. The stealing of energy..........

The Sixth Insight... Clearing the Past
The more we stay connected, the more we are acutely aware of those times when we lose connection, usually when we are under stress. In these times, we can see our own particular way of stealing energy from others. Once our manipulations are brought to personal awareness, our connection becomes more constant and we can discover our own growth path in life, and our spiritual mission—the personal way we can contribute to the world.

Aztec Warrior
Here is a quick review of the book and insights.

The book discusses various psychological and spiritual ideas which are often regarded as New Age themes. Many ideas are explored, including the practice of vegetarianism helping an individual to establish a connection with the Divine. The main character of the novel undertakes a journey to find and understand a series of nine spiritual insights on an ancient manuscript in Peru.

The book is a first-person narrative of spiritual awakening. The narrator is in a transitional period of his life, and begins to notice instances of synchronicity, which is the realization that coincidences are sometimes no accident, and have deeper meaning.

The story opens with the narrator finding himself reacquainted with an old friend. She tells him about the Insights, which are contained in a manuscript dating to 600 BCE, though only recently translated. This encounter leaves him curious, and while contemplating it at his family's lakefront home, decides to look into going to Peru to explore further.

Aided by a great travel deal, he finds himself en route to Peru only three hours later. On the plane, he meets a scientist who is also interested in the manuscript, and learns that there is opposition to the dissemination of the Insights. This is dramatically illustrated when authorities try to arrest, and then shoot down, the scientist soon after their arrival.

The narrator then learns the Insights, one by one, often experiencing the Insight before actually reading the text, while being pursued by forces of the Church and the Peruvian government.

In the end, he succeeds in learning the first nine Insights and returns to the United States, with a promise of a Tenth Insight soon to be revealed. The Insights are given only through summaries and illustrated by events in the plot. The text of no complete Insight is given, apparently for brevity's sake. For example, the narrator tells us a 'partial translation' of the Ninth Insight was 20 typewritten pages in length. Link

Yes, I relaly need to reconnect with that. I let people steal my energy, maybe that is why the shut in I was doing some work for wanted me around constantly. She has been calling me all the time and when I am trying to do her gardening, she always has excuses for calling me into the house.
Aztec Warrior
You know, today when I was being interviewed by the dept. head and the coordinator...........I did NOT let them steal any of my energy. I guess as I have gotten older, I recognize that and immediately put up a block. And now, I even try to reciprocate by stealing theirs..........well not really....but still....

Simple things amuse simple people.

For someone like you, I would advise you to go read a book...any book. You should start with Nancy Drew or the Hardy Boy's. When you have sufficiently progressed to the level of say, high school I would subsequently recommend the book I started the thread with.
