I just got a Wii and would like to know some good games to get. I rented Medal of Honor Vangaurd, the game was good besides the crappy AI and the game only took 2 hours to beat

yah i was thinking about Zelda, but I got Wii Play instead because it came with a Wii Mote. But for now I really want Mario Kart 64 so i might stick with Virtual Counsole games

Get "Twilight Princess," "Super Paper Mario" I love both games,

"Dragon Ball Z" wii is surprisingly good,

"super monkey ball is good but i like the gamecube ones better,

I read Resident Evil 4 Wii is a must for the Wii especially if you never played it before on the other consoles and "Trauma Center" if your into that kind of game

Then wait for for Metroid Prime 3, Smash Brothers Brawl, No more Heroes, Soulcalibur Legends, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, Mario Galaxy, Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn (US)

Resident Evil 4 (I read the wii version is even better, but i would get the gamecube one just for traditional controller, but its your call)

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (I love this game)

Pikmin 2 (i loved this also still play it time to time get the first one also if you want, but 2 is just perfection of the first one)

Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos Origins (good games but there card rps's not for everyone but if you were to ever play one this is one of the best and for a non card rpg fan like me i can only guess you might like it regardless of the genre)

The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition (get it if you never played the 64 Zelda games especially Majora's Mask, I know it might be redundant to buy it because of OOT and the rest of the zelda games are on the virtaul console so maybe hold out on this Majora's Mask may one day come out)

F-Zero GX and Wave Race: Blue Storm (F-Zero is love it or hate it (very difficult for beginners of the series), if your not sure get Wave Race there both fun arcade racers, don't bother with MK:DD it sucks)

Ikaruga (its a shmup if you don't know what I'm talking about don't buy it, its probably not for you)

Animal Crossing (fun time waster)

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (good strategy rpg)

SSX 3, Tony Hawk's Underground, NBA Street V3, Mario Golf (most likely all the action sports you could want from the Gamecube Mario tennis and strikers is o.k. but you'll quickly find out you won't ever play them again after a couple of single player matches)

Although it hasn't come out yet, I'd like to reccomend Manhunt 2, that is if you like horror/thriller games.

I read that one can play the Wii version with the Wii controller or the gamecube controller so if you have a choice go for the wii version.

From my own collection I would recommend getting Zelda:Twilight Princess, Excite Truck, Red Steel(rent first though as it does have quite a few glitches and issues that turn many off) and Mario Strikers. Other games currently out that I have played and will eventually purchase include Super Paper Mario, Godfather, Scarface, Resident Evil 4 and SSX Blur.

Manhunt 2 was banned in the US im pretty sure.....Resident Evil 4 is gonna be my next game. I went to game stop and that was the employee favorite. but right now i need money for another modem and LAN adapter for my wii so i can use internet. the USB wifi connector made me turn off my fire wall and i am not in to that cause i already have viruses.

yah excite truck was sold out at game stop and wal mart so i am gonna have to wait for that

i am watchin tha nintendo press conference on G4 right now, and you have to get the zapper, its made for FPSs and looks awsome, no pics have been release ion the internet yet, jsut the beta version from last years. so yeah, super smash brothers bral is comin out Dec 3 nad mario kart in the fisrt 1/4 of 08 it will have online. but there is also a WW2 game thats comin out with online, i forgot teh naem, and resident evil is makin a Wii exclusive game thats and FPS, so theres more on teh way and i once agian want a Wii. oh, and guitar hero 3 will be out with a wireless ax and internet so u and your friends can start your own band! Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! i am addicted to t GH2 right now so i cant wait for the 3rd installment

Well, not all of Europe has banned it. I think just Italy and the UK.

It does not matter anyway Nintendo and Sony already made it known they will not allow an A rated game on their consoles

well right now i just bought a modem and lan adapter for my wii , so im chucking the wifi thing cause i have to keep the computer on to use it. i dont even need one with the modem and adapter. yah ive heard of the zapper. and speshall, u have to come to my moms cause i will have the internet hooked up to it

yea, and EA is totally rethinknin medal of honer, adn for the Wii, itll have 32 person online play. metroid prime is also set to come out soetime next year.

mario kart is comin out in the fisrt quarter of next year, and will be pakaged with the new sterrin weel attachment for the Wii-mote, u jsut clik it in and it works a a sterrin weel
same with the zapper, u jsut clik in the Wii mote and its a gun

I just rented Residen Evil 4: Wii Edition. Great controls, fun game (you get to use machine guns on the zombies, and incendary grenades lol), but it scares the crap out of me! I reccomend it for people like me who have never played a resident evil game. Yah, i went on Wikipedia to look at the list of upcoming games with online play. There are some pretty good ones. Speshal, u have no idea how much i am waiting for that mario kart!!I need it!! And i am also getting mario kart 64 for Virtual Console

Resident evil 4 is indeed a quality title and would by far be one of the best Wii game available. It is definately a game I would recommend to anyone with a Wii. The controls as numerous reviewers have said make the Wii edition the definitive version of this game. Resident Evil:UC will be an on-rails shooter and will cover events from a number of the RE games so it will indeed be quite good but not in the same league as RE4.

Is that like the internet browser? Use your computer instead...it is by all means better. Not saying that the Wii Opera browser is bad but unless your too lazy to move from your couch to your desk I just don't see the point.

Zelda i would recomend for obvious reasons.
RE4, is amazing.
Brain age is a great game if your into that kind of thing.
But i also recomened buying a Wii points card and DLing some stuff from the virtual console.
Playing games from yonder and yore is always a great experience.
Plus you have the for as long as you own your system.
And it fills in the Wii channels nicely, its much better than seeing them empty, im already on my second page

I just joined but i bought a Wii and i noticed some problems right away the sensor dosent capture most of the motions but i belive this is the future of gaming maybe it will even become a national sport

rayman all the way lol the game made me laugh quite a bit and the mini games are amazingly fun

Get NMH if you find it cheap used, its not worth the full price.

If you havent allready played it for the PS2 or you want to play it again on a different system then Okami.I've played it on the PS2 allready,but i'm still buying it since it's been upgraded especially for the Wii,I think it comes out at the end of the month.

The Wii has far more than two quality titles already released, with numerous high-quality game coming from first, second and third party developers in the coming months and years. There is also the coming launch of the Wiiware service which is a download service for games that have an obvious size limit, yet the support for the system has been phenomenal with countless games already announced to launch or come soon after.
