hi! i have a few experiences that happened in my family and id like some opinions.

1. my cousin who is like a sister to me (my parents started raising her when she was five) recently described an experience that happened a few years ago. she was laying in bed, alone since she was separated from her husband at the time, and her door was open. she heard a noise and woke up and saw a man in the hallway wearing a flannel shirt, a hat, and holding a beer can. at first she thought it might be her husband who was drunk and came to see her so she yelled at him to get out. when she looked again he was still standing there and she realized that she could see through him.

2. when my cousin told me and my mom of this experience my mom was shocked. she described an experience in a house that we used to live in that is believed to be haunted by pretty much anyone who enters it. my mom was laying in bed, alone, and her door was open. my dad was gone since he traveled a lot for work. she woke up in the middle of the night and saw a man who was slightly hunched over and wearing a flannel shirt and hat slowly walk past her door. the only place he could have gone was the bathroom. she was scared that someone broke in and even got out my father's gun but when she checked the bathroom (the only room he could have gone in) no one was there.

3. my mom also had an experience where she fell asleep on the couch and woke up hearing the bathroom door close. she looked and saw that the door was closed and the light in it was turned on. she figured it was my dad getting home from work and didn't say anything until some time passed and no one came out. finally she knocked on the door and when no one answered she opened it and the room was empty. she was the only person in the house at the time. she would also go in the basement to do laundry and every time she went in the basement and she was home alone she said she would hear footsteps walking above her and also things would always be moved around like pictures, toys, etc.

there was an old man who died in the house but everyone said that he died naturally and that he was a nice person so my mom was never very fearful and never had anyone come and check out the house. the question that i have is if it's possible for ghosts or spirits to travel? i can understand a ghost haunting the house where he died but i don't understand why he would go to a different town, in a different house to haunt my cousin. or maybe it was just a coincidence. either way, i just moved into my own apartment 300 miles away from that house and i make sure that my bedroom door is closed when i go to sleep at night.

this is definently a haunting, the ghost had a sort of a recent death, and he definently doesnt want to hurt any of u. he goes to the bathroom maybe because that is where he either died or had something valuble in it. either way, its haunted, but by a good spirit. it doesnt count as a ghost unless it wants to hurt someone. yes.gif

Maybe, since your ghost seems to be good natured, it traveled to your cousin/sister to make sure she was ok and/or safe - much like a guardian spirit. Who knows, maybe the guy that died in the house was very family oriented and has 'adopted' your family and is watching out for you.

I would focus most of my attention on the fact that all of these incidents happen directly after your family member has fallen asleep...
Perhaps your house is too close to some sort of cell phone tower or something.. screwing with your mechanism... contact local G.P. perhaps?
Im worried.

why do you automatically assume its a haunting..

you may have something going on in the house...i have a friend that has had similar experiences which has continued on to this day (years)...they do not live near high voltage power lines, cell towers, or anything else like that...why or how something followed your cousin is hard to guess...you willhave to keep an eye on things a see what develops...if something has followed then it will make itself known if it wants to....but it does not sound like you are in any danger at this time...let me know if you need help.

It is highly doubtful that your cousin and your mom could both hallucinate or imagine the exact same sight. A good medium can come into the house or meet with your mom and your cousin and probably tell you what's happening. The main thing is, don't tell the medium anything in advance, nothing, not even an address. If she picks up on a man with a hat and a flannel shirt, then I'd listen to what she has to say about him.
