I felt that fear again today
That my love may go astray
That if I love, I’ll be betrayed

But then I sat and thought it through

Yes, it would! But I wrote it in response to YOUR poem. My recent blog entry however, dealt with the same subject initially, but from the other side. When one tries to let go, but the other refuses to do the same. Then ultimately, the eventual succumbing of the lover to retain the love. Its hard enough to force it once, but how many times does it take before one stops forcing, and accepts it back?
