So, I've had nothing to do today and decided to write a poem. I'm not expecting everyone to fully understand it since a lot of it has to do with thoughts of mine and semi-recent world events and well, basically the almost godlike power the government currently has over its citizens in America.

Come you mortals,
The stage is set
Hearts impulsing
Emit regret
The days do dwindle
The time draws nigh
Shield your ears
The bullets fly
The new world forming
Resistance quelled
The courts adjourning
Verdict withheld
The price of security
Paid in full
The weight of burdens
You cannot pull
So join us, mortals
And show repent,
Meet your master,
The government.
