My house was built in september 2005, I have not had a problem of any kind with my house until exactly 4 months ago today. I'm not sure what is in my house but it is very detrmined to scare the living breath out of me and make my life hell. I'm a witch and have been baught up that way from a pagan family and nothing I or they can do anything to get rid of it. I have only seen it once, it was like a gray, smokey, foggy mist, its very hard to describe, it was the shape of a very large human but there was no out line of arms or legs, just a hovering/floating rounded rectangle with the shape of a head. It started off by opening my curtains and throwing books off my book shelf but it has upgraded to smashing glass, throwing things at me, rattling my wall hangings, messing with electronic equipment, giving off a very foul smell at times and makes non understandable noises, I'm not sure if it's trying to talk. It has made it quite clear that it does not appreciate me or anyone else trying to get rid of it. I did some research on the history of the land my house is built on and it was an animal shelter before it was torn down and my house was built. I have no new objects, furniture or anything els that something might attach itself to. I'm at my wits end with this. It's scaring the crap out of me, my man and any guests we may have over. These occurances are becoming very frequent, at least 2 a day, but the majority of it happens at night, each time getting stronger. So anyone with suggestions please let me know. I have tried just about every spell/ritual known to man.

It just wants attention....leave it a fine cigar and a pint of Crown Royal and it'll go away. If it doesn't...drink the pint yourself and smoke the cigar...then it'll go away.

Here's a technique that I used to use to make the 'lower entities' disappear whenever I felt uncomfortable. I would envision a white light engulfing the whole entire house, ever nook and cranny in our household. After that, the horrible feelings just gradually disappeared. Perhaps you should try that, as well. Envision a nice, bright light engulfing the whole entire house from inside out. Either that, or tell the spirit straight up that it's YOUR home, and he's going to have to deal with you living there. It's your home now, and you set the rules.

Please provide us with some pictures and audios recorded during the entity's visit? and you mean your books are thrown off the book shelves, so why don't you take a picture or two of the scene?

Would be nice though it has also been mentioned in other threads that these 'things', for lack of a better description, seem to grow stronger when they are noticed and 'recorded'.

Things like seances, tape recordings and actually speaking to the entity has been known to give it power.

Take from that what you will - I am not saying it IS the case but people do mention this quite a lot.

If your a witch, you should know that demons and poltergeists can be summoned. Sounds like someone sent it to you. Bare with me a minute, I might come up with a few ideas on how to get rid of it.

Do you think this entity has anything to do with the fact you are a witch? Meaning - are there any other witches in your life that would summon this thing to your house using a spell? Someone who wishes you harm? Is it possible you accidently summoned it using another spell or ceremony? Have you tried simply sitting down calmly and telling it you respect it but this is your house now and you are asking it to please leave, it is time for you to pass over and quit hanging out in our dimension scaring the crap outta everyone. Have you called in a paranormal investigative team? I have found in some instances with the two PI teams I have been in that sometimes after an investigation the client will call to report incrediously that the activity stopped. My own personal theory on this is really active spirits like this who are participating in poltergeist activity want attention and how much more attention can they get than having a whole team of people coming to spend the night just to make contact with them - sometimes that is enough to squelched their need for attention and they go away. Along those same lines - do not let it know it is scaring you or even effecting you. Ignore it. Like a child it may get more persistant and bratty but eventually will accept the fact it is not going to get what it wants.
Being Pagan, I am sure you have done the burning of sage and different cleansing rituals using natural elements so I won't even go into all that.
You said this started happening four years ago to the day - can you think of anything significant that happened four years ago that could of summoned this thing? I think maybe if you can track down the instance or reason this entity was called upon you will be able to find the answers as to how you can get rid of it. I am sorry I can't be of more help but hopefully it is comforting to know that people do believe you and take you seriously.
My advice to you would be to call a paranormal investigative team to come in and check it out. If anything it may give you some answers about the entity. I googled it and there are a few ghost hunting groups in Austraila who offer free in-home investigations.

If your a witch, and I'm not saying that your not, then you should know, that anything paranormal will feed off of your fear...Prayers always help, and so does demanding that this entity (if there is one) leave immediately, as it is not welcome in your home....Am entity can follow you from home to home...did you have any problems where you last lived...Also, an exocism is not that easy to obtain...there is alot involved...

A SPELL TO BREAK THE POWERS OF A SPELL


If you believe that a spell has been cast against you, place a large black candle in a cauldron (or a large black bowl). The candle must be tall enough to extend a few inched above the cauldron's rim. Affix the candle to the bottom of the cauldron with warmed beeswax or the drippings of another black candle so that it will not tip over.

Did you try simply telling him/her/it that you don't appreciate what he's doing, and that he has to leave? Or at least stop scaring you?

Worked with 'my' ghost, in this house. When I just moved in here, he was always dropping things, making noise on the stairs, or upstairs, and just plain out scaring the hell out of me. At one point, I told him that he needs to stop what he's doing, because I'm not going to harm his house, I'm letting him still hang around here, as long as he keeps away from me, and out of my room. It's exactly what he did. Every now and then he wants me to remember he's still here, so he'll make noise as if he's walking down the stairs again, and then everything's fine again.
But then, I have an easy ghost, who doesn't want to harm anyone. He just wants to protects his house.

You could still try asking though.

I dont know much about this stuff, but I know if its black or a dark smoke grey, its not a ghost, its a Shadowman I dont have any experience to make me bileave in them strongly though. And the fact that your a witch and its a new house, well surely it canny be a Ghost then, can it.

My experience with such phenomenom is limited, but I have some success. I have seen that spells and such are of little value. Even blessings and exorcisms seem futile. What I have seen work is authority. We are by nature fearful of such things and I wonder if they somehow feed on it. The trick is to stand your ground and be authoritive with it. That is your home, not the "things". I have seen two examples with two different Catholic Priests, one was successful because he was fearless. The other relied only on a latin ritual and was scared. The only difference was the other fellow was authoritive. Heck, why not try it out, what do you have to lose. My personal experience was similar to yours and it indeed worked. Just be fearless. I understand where you are coming from 100%! Sounds like you have a polterguiest! I hate polterguists. I have a personal score to settle with the b*******. (see my thread: Guardian spirit with glowing Yellow eyes) ... they made me miss the LARGEST encounter of my spiritual life!

Anyway. Polterguiests don't usually seem to come from the land around them (aka, not bound to a specific location), but are more like the neighborhood punk-asses with a beat-up truck who go egging cars and toilet-papering houses. Only, they are now invisible and can go through walls and other objects.

I have dealt with spesific polterguiests before, and they were taken by Hades on request. You see, Hades is getting sick of polterguiets and I'm sure if you call on him he'd be more than happy to try. My friend called him with a personal prayer in latin (I think). (she had read something on Greek funerals before and memorized it, and it was basically a way that he would have been called for a funeral only she directed it at the polterguiest). Then again, she follows Hades as "her father".

(she does so because she was haunted by the signs of malicious entities in her home, aka her bed shook violently at night, her framed photos and wallscrolls would be randomly pulled off at any point in the day or night, she would have painfull scratch/bite wounds on her body, and sometimes they were bad enough to bleed. Mirrors cracked for no reason, red eyes would appear around her room/house... many dark and evil things would manefest their bodies, but then one day in winter her room got extremely warm and there was Hades who saved her under the promise she followed him... Considering that her praying to Jesus only made the experiences worse, she followed. She felt that Jesus was ignoring her anyway, and if Hades would come from nowhere to help her that means she should. Ever since she had been reading up on Greek mythology) Note: Hades doesn't usually ask for you to drop your religion in order to help you. This was a special insident due to her spiritual heratige or something like that.



Um, moral of the story: Hades is your friend for getting the wandering spirits away... Because he IS Lord of the Dead.

Years ago I let some friends use a ouija board that I had to find out what was haunting their house. They lived in an old beautiful turn of the century home.

They sometimes heard a woman singing in the upstairs bedroom, foot steps were heard throughout the house, things disappearing and reappearing in different places, dishes rattling and so forth. They contacted her and found her name was Emily. She had lost her husband and infant son to fever. She was very distraught and jumped from the third floor window that was the babys room. Aparently she was bound there and was looking for her deceased loved ones.

The woman who owned the house passed away and the house was being put up for auction. My friends eventually had to move and I got my board back.
I stored it under my bed and it wasnt long before things started happening at my house.
The bed would move and many of the same things that happened at my friends house were happening at mine. I could clearly hear her singing so I knew it was her. So I was not afraid. I guess she had followed the board so she could communicate.
I had a miniture Dachsund puppy at the time that liked to chew on everything.
I came home from work oneday to find it out from under the bed and a large corner of it gone. I burned the board and things stopped happening around the house.
Sometimes I still felt as though she was there and occasionally I thought I heard her.
I still have the house but I just use it for storage now.

I wanted to ask you, have you ever thought of asking this entity what it wants? And why it is doing all that? Perhaps it is just simply trying to get your attention, and lending an ear to listen to what it has to say for itself may help keep it from causing so much trouble for you. At times when spirits want to get a living person's attention, and when they don't have a way to get through to the person, because of the person's closed mind, they bang on walls or do something that will make noise to get the person's attention. Its not always for the reason to be mischievious. All it takes is an open mind to listen, and to keep yourself calm so that your consciousness doesn't twist and make things worse than they really are.

Well, first thing you are fighting fire with fire. Spells/witchcraft is probably what evoked this thing to begin with. They feed off the negative energy, know matter if its dark or white magick you are using its all the work of the destroyer. I could banish it, sounds like a typical demon, spirits of the fallen nephilim. They feed off your fear, so if you are going to banish anything first off let it be your fear, for fear is the mind killer. Try using power words like "I rebuke you in the name of Christ" ...Bottom line is they do not like that name. If it is a low end demon it should flee. If its a higher ranking one you need intent when using power words such as that. Try that and see how it goes, remember they feed off your fear, like gasoline to a fire, don't fear it, it once walked the earth like you do.

Well, things have improved. But i still get the feeling that something is still here. I havent had anything throw stuff at me or seen smoke or heard anything for a while now. I got my family coven together and we worked for about 2hrs. After that........ nothing, but im not entirely convinced yet.

Well do this again in a week or two, and maybe another one a month after that. Make it see you are not alone, and you will not be pushed. Make it feel that.

I don't believe being a wiccan had anything to do with bringing this thing into your home. For those of you who see it as a drawer of evil spirits, I really am sorry you feel that way. Though another wiccan could have brought it with them unknowingly, I think bringing the coven together was the right thing to do, power in numbers. Good luck and Goddess watch over you!

darkmoon, this sounds a lot like what was going on in my home a few months after we moved in. I eventually found out who was causing the problem and why he was angry, but before then (2 years before) , I put my foot down.
I just got angry and told it what it was not allowed to do in my home.

I highly doubt that. You say you are a witch and you can't get rid of this thing? Well, I don't know much about banishings in witchcraft but here is some things I would suggest.

Middle Pillar, Rose Cross, LBRP, LBRH, hopefully you know what those are, if not it isn't that hard to find out what they are, Google is your friend

I suggest doing each of those once a day until the thing is gone, whether you believe in the things that are being called on (Archangels etc.) doesn't really matter, I don't believe in them at all and the rituals still work for me, just believe in them for the duration of the ritual, then you can go back. Hopefully this will work, if not, then maybe evocation of some guardian entity?

I'm not MasterPro but 3's would be a characteristic of a demonic haunt. That means that if the activity is happening in 3's (3times in a row) it's a possibility that it could be demonic. But it would have to have all other characteristics.

it was a very hard entity to shift... seemed like the more i did something the more it grew stronger. I am no longer living at that house so whoever buys it next can deal with the prob if in fact it is still there.

you may not like this idea but it will work. say a prayer from each religion (jewish prayer, islamic prayer and christian prayer) each day and then see which day the entity is at its weakest, then use this to your advantagqe

This thread is quite old and i am no longer living at that house but i have had a few more experiences regarding this house and the new one i am in so rather that just start a new topic i will just revive this one and add to it....

A few weeks ago i got a call from the real estate office asking me if he could pass on my phone number to a lady who has just bought the house, so i told him it was ok. A few days later the lady called me and wanted to know a bit about the house. I told her a few things about some small problems and such but i asked the why the real estate didn't tell her this? Then she told me she wanted to know if i had had any experiences while i was living in the house, not if there was any repair work to be done.

I told her a little of what had happened in the house and asked her what had happened for her to be calling me. She said she was quite afraid of what was in that house and whatever it was seemed to be looking for me She said that a few of the things that i had mentioned had happened to her as well, but also a few things she said that had happened also happened to me but i didn't tell her. She said it had gotten very bad in the past few days, she said it was also looking for me and seemed angry that i wasn't there anymore.

She told me that one morning she woke up to find her kitchen in a mess.. cups were smashed and there was a mess of breakfast cereal, sugar, flour and coffee all over the floor but she said what scared her most is that the words "WHERE IS SHE" was written in the mess on the floor. Needless to say she wasn't the only one who was scared by this...

I told her a few things she could do but this lady was christian and didn't believe in my magic or any for that matter. She said her pastor was coming around the next day to bless the house. I got curious and asked her why she called me at all and she said that she wanted to know if she was still sane lol she also felt she should tell me about the writing on the floor.

Now i had a bit of a think about this after i hung up the phone, was it a prank? had someone i knew made up this story just to try to scare me? Had some one broken into her house as a prank and done all this? I admit i was very skeptical about it all.

So i decided to pay her a visit.

I drove over there yesterday and knocked on the door, a lady in her 30's answered and she said to me "hello, angela" She had not met me before and only new my name by the phone call and that i was the last person to live there but she had not seen me to put a face to my name so i asked her how she knew it was me. She said i'd better come in. So i went into my old house and sat in my old living room and had a cup of tea while she told me the events of what happened.

After the phone call and her priest had arrived to bless the house she said things got worse. She also said she felt silly telling me all this because she did not believe in ghosts and such. The morning after the priest had come she said she woke up to the same mess in the kitchen as before except this time there was my name and also a photograph of me laying on the floor.

The lady seemed sane and not the sort of person who would go to such lengths and make up something. She showed me the photo of me that had been on the floor, it was still covered in flour and what seemed like coffee.

Even though she was a christian i explained to her what i did to try to get rid of it. She sat and listened and asked a question here and there and also even insinuated at one stage that "it" was there because of my "evil" I decided this was going no where so i thanked her for the tea and the conversation and went home.

On the way home i was thinking about all of this, when i moved it seemed "it" was no longer in the house. The photo was easy enough to explain i guess, i must have just accidently left it behind. But everything she had told me that had happened had happened to me. She might have met someone i told and they told her what heppened and she made it up? But she did honeslty seem scared..... I have no idea.

But... When i got home some "odd" things started to happen... My doors started slamming... (they are the sliding screen type, not the type to be blown shut from the wind) and my lights started flickering. This morning when i woke up every door and window in my house was open (i shut everything and lock it before i go to bed) and a few times today my doors have opened and shut by them selves.

So now im wondering if "it" attached to me somehow and came home with me. This is very worrying for me because of the writing and the photo in my old house. I'm just ignoring it all at the moment and not giving any recognition to what is happening.

So what do you think?

Why would you be so skeptical of her if the same thing happened to you? It seems like a very complex, convoluted game for this lady to play!

If the haunting has attached itself to you again I would call in some 'professionals' to try get rid of it.

I don't think it attached to you. It just followed you home. Don't give up though! You're actually much stronger than the spirit, it's just trying to intimidate you. Much like a bully in grade school.

Spirits affix themselves to what is familiar to them. Most of the time, it is a place. Perhaps, it has attached itself to you because it recognizes your practices as a Pagan. Or you've been hexed. These are the only two possibilities I can think of.
