Over the years of such transormation as to putting their emotions to the side while working on technology for billions of years, I think they lost love.
So they might need love.
Most likely, Water.
Most importantly, not to be shot at, in order for that to happen, they need to stop with those freakin abductions. There is no respect in an night invasion. Not even my cousin is allowed to do that.

If aliens are so advanced about a thousand years if not a millinea. What would be thier need of us? We sent out voyager for them to find us, was that a smart move on us?

Earth is a big reality show, normally you would have humans on one planet, elephants on another, fish on another and so on.

Yes and no... what I mean is. Our 21st cent. technology is just that. We want to go to Mars and haven't achieved it yet. We want to know?

Aliens not only did this but are so advanced about a 1000 years or maybe a million years. That they need nothing from us cause their technology is superior.

Maybe not, we could be thier pet project or something? working with us to be able one day to communicate on thier level.

I think it would be a matter of seeing the neighbors rather than trying to get anything out of it...

Let me ask you a question, why do we go into the remote jungles of some of these third world countries and study apes and monkeys?
They have no technologies that I'm aware of that we (THE HUMAN RACE) could possibly want or need, the reason we do this is simple; and as basic as when you were a small boy in your own backyard looking at ants, frogs and grasshoppers, Your curious, its that simple. And if they are so advanced like you say, And i totally agree with you about that, There just curious, its the same thing we as a world would do if we found some cavemen living on the moon, we would just investigate them and see how they do what they do...
