I don't do art much, I'm not very good but I loved this one, it is based off the character from Stephen King's "Insomnia" Atropos was "Chaos" I have three pics, none really show the drawing well but oh well, it was just done in pencil nothing fancy


Full-length (there is 'Atropos' written on the bottom but that didn't matter much really)


Bit closer shot, you can see his face better and his shoulders and his scissors


And my money shot you can see an almost perfect shot of his face

You do know that Atropos was in fact a woman.. one of the 3 Fates or Moirae..her sisters being Clotho and Lachesis

Yes but in Stephen King's book Atropos is a man, so are Clotho and Lachesis, I have work to do on the picture, like draw his hand in the scissors but that was a bit challenging so I just made it a shadow for now

Yes, I've read the book several times myself.. You did a wonderful job on it Hands are always difficult to draw.

Oh awesome, I loved the book, next thing I want to draw is the the Bear from the dashbord of the cop's car from the book Desperation, the one on the cover. I have an older book I like getting the older copies of King and so on from a local store here called "Yesterday's Books" good deals and good books I love the place. Thanks for commenting I appreciate it, when I do draw I tend to pick out all the flaws lol.

Cool picture...I haven't taken the time to read Insomnia but I plan to. Now....to watch the Nightmare before Christmas. Again.
