If you saw tranformers then you've seen the less than teaser Trailer for jj abrams' untiled movie which is referred to as cloverfeild. People have beem guessing everything from Godzilla to gods, satan, and even the marshmellow man. This movie will be the end of me.
Any info or help you can give will be very GREATLY appreciated. Heres what i know:
1.)J J Abrams is producer/Paramount is involved weather they say it or not.
2.) This was extracted from the page source of the puzzle:War came, no longer from the elemental nor from the star’s rain of fire. The world was again remade, and the glow was as the coming of the sun upon the Earth. The children of the gods were again too few, scattered and divided and among them walked the ancients and those whose thoughts were not as to the towers and the marvels, but to the End and the destruction of the Earth and to the fires from which nothing could escape.
3.) The guy who is in the video messages name is Van Mantra.
4.) Paramount took down all but 2 videos,messages 1 and 5
5.) the movie is shot with cam corders from the actors POV
6.) There is a loud what seem to be an animal's roar, and it sound like the in the trailer said,"its a lion and its huge,he also could've said
line,light,alive,..ect
7.)The most important. AUGUST 1ST will be some very important. You are supposed to type in a code you get from finishing the puzzle(which I have not done) My guess is that there will be some sort of sneak peak, but i am not sure.
8.) Call this # : 407-760-2795 and van tells you email and something about not trusting anyone.
Apollogies in advance for the sloppiness, but I am going nuts trying to figure this out

The trailer for this was kinda cool, although I had no idea what the hell it was. Sounds like the movie, as well as everything leading up to it, will be interesting.
The first thing I though of was Godzilla. The noise that was being made was similar to his, and the reference to Japan made it seem more likely, but I don't see any reason for one to be made. We'll see.

I watched the trailer online... very intriguing. They've taken a page out of Lost's book I think, creating this mystery to draw people in, very clever. I thought aliens when I first saw it, but we already had that with Independence Day so who knows. Hope it comes out in Oz *fingers-crossed*

Really? I hear other people saying that, but to me the roar didnt sound anything like Godzilla.I think that Godzilla's roar is MUCH more high pitched then that. Then again you never know

His is a little more high pitched, I guess. But I'm positive this is not a Godzilla movie. The monster is called the Parasite, it looks to be reptilian, it's huge....that's all we know about it. August 1st should be cool for whatever they're going to reveal.

Definately not Voltron. That movie is already in production by another company, anyways. And the guy doesn't say "It's a lion" in the trailer, he says "It's alive. It's Huge."
As for the puzzles, I didn't have the patience to even do the first one. I didn't really know what to do, haha.

What's Up With That 'Cloverfield' Trailer?
By Anthony Breznican,

(July 9) -- What is it?
That's the question moviegoers are asking about a mysterious trailer promoting an unnamed film shown in previews before Transformers.
It's possibly Hollywood's biggest experiment with reverse psychology, creating immense want-to-see passion in people by refusing to say anymore.
The footage is grainy home video of a party in New York, featuring happy-looking twentysomethings dancing and mugging for the camera before disaster strikes.
The lights go out. The party people go to the roof and see huge fireballs erupting in the city. Panic ensues and the group runs to the street, where something large hurtles through the sky and crash-lands in the street in a heap of burned wreckage.
It's the Statue of Liberty's head.
There is no title on the trailer. The date 1/18/08 is shown, along with a line saying it is produced by Lost co-creator and Mission: Impossible III director J.J. Abrams.
The project is known by the code name Cloverfield, but that is not the real title, according to Paramount Pictures, the source of the trailer.
Hollywood-Elsewhere.com's Jeffrey Wells says the trailer is a clever ploy working just as the studio hoped.
"It's probably more enticing to not quite know what is that they're putting across," he says. "It's always better when you can arouse imaginations and get them wondering without making things too explicit. That's not the age and aesthetic of today. Everybody wants things right on the nose."
On the Web, at Fourth of July barbecues and at post-Transformers screening dinners, people wanted to know more. Harry Knowles, the online king of movie previews at AintItCool.com, says Paramount's unique marketing campaign will "drive all the rest of us crazy. The worst thing about releasing a film without a title is my phone starts ringing at inappropriate times in the morning and night. When you have your phone number on your website, people think, 'Let's call him and ask him what we saw."

They got my attention. Genius marketing campaign if you ask me.

i went to the link and solved the puzzles and emailed the Van guy. he sends back the email:
(((I think I’m safe, for now. Wherever I go it isn’t long before they find me.
It seems The Mezin are connected to every aspect of humanity, from culture and religion to our most advanced technology
I have to be more careful contacting all of you. When I began I thought I could safely speak about his writings and perhaps save us all...
but now it seems I will have to find a more subtle way to share his visions.
If this is the first message you have received from me do not give up hope! There are others that have gone before you, the way has been found, you only need to search and you will find the answers you seek. We are getting stronger, our voices will be heard!
I have more of Haas’s writings, once I find a secure way to transmit them I will leave you clues to find them.
The more I read the more I realize Haas was right………)))
In the videos they mention that it was all predicted, so time travel could be involved. It looks like whatever these "Mezin" things are, have come here to exterminate us, so by that basis I gather that we are the parasites. Ethan Haas appears to be the guy who predicted all of this and wrote literature predicting what is going on. Nifty marketing. I'll check out the movie just for the effort they're putting into it.

Apparently people are thinking this is a war of the worlds remake or a new godzilla....i don't actually think it's either....there seems to be too much action going on for it to be godzilla...i mean explosions....flying pieces of the statue of liberty...not very characteristic of godzilla. I'd say war of the worlds would have a better shot had it not just recently been re-made.
Maybe its a game?
I dunno, i'd like it to be a new godzilla movies but i dunno, it just doesn't have a godzilla feel to it.
I'm actually leaning towards it being a entirely new movie and not a remake or a sequel to anything...amazing as that sounds

It cant be a Godzilla movie because Paramount Pictures dont own Godizlla and they dont have the right to produce a Godzilla movie. Only Sony and Tri-Star have the right.
And yea ethanhass has nothing to do with the movie.
But slusho is part of it.
You can see a guy wearing a slusho shirt somewhere in the trailer.
Heres the site.

From what I've heard, many times people have mentioned is a
Cthulhu monster. A creature that was created by an author, H.P. Lovecraft

Crap, it if were a Cthulhu-based movie, that would be bad-ass on an epic scale.
Awesome, since August 1 is my birthday. They better release something awesome about this movie that day.
Or else.

I think it's either gonna be something inspired by Cthulhu/Old Ones/Endbringers or Japanese style monsters but something new/original. The amount of people who seem to think it's Volron is stupid, for one Voltron is in production at another studio with a reportedly kick ass 'post apocalytic' script, which this obviously isn't. Anyway, the trailer is really cool.. but I think paramount are in trouble of suffering from the 'too much hype' effect where when people actually go to see it they will be let down because there has been too much hype been built around it. It might not happen but I bet come release day there will be atleast some people saying this.

People ALWAYS complain about a movie, no matter how good it is or how well it lived up to the hype. I'm definately skeptical about how good the movie is going to be. The budget is only $30 mil, which doesn't seem like a lot for a movie like this, but I guess we'll see.

J. J. has come out and said, "We need our own Godzilla". Probably meaning this is a new monster and not Clulhu. Anyone see the poster? Gives us something, the monster seems to be able to go in water.

Clearly it is aquatic in nature (and damn cool...). So, it probably hides in the depths.

That whale-like drawing looked like Sin from Final Fantasy X.
Personally I'm hoping for a Cthulhu movie, although I doubt Cthulhu's the monster.
