Would you be able to live as the opposite gender?

"As a Man" humm

1 No more bra YEH!!!!

2 Never ask for directions again.... Ha Ha

3 Be able to drive fast and feel safe

4 Have the last say on everything.... w00t.gif at least from past experience...

jpalz
The answer: F*** NO!!!

1- Bra. Nuff' said.
2- Spending 3 hours in the bathroom just to get ready for a party.
3- Driving awfully (girls, admit it yes.gif) laugh.gif
4- Almost no porn available.
5- You forget your friend's birthday and she won't talk to you again.
6- You watch TV with your friend in silence and you HAVE to think: "She's angry with me"
7- Not having control of the remote control.

I will omit all of the reasons that involve the use of the... you know... "that". But all in all, I wouldn't want to be a woman, no thank you yes.gif

can't walking around with pants only ?

no way...
Affliction
I doubt I posses enough joy to be a woman judging by the average tampon/sanitary pads commercial.

I could switch genders, but would I want to? Not for anything in the world.

Pssh. Everyone knows the female gets the last word or it's all hell broken loose. devil.gif

No, I could never ever live as the opposite gender. I like my femaleness too much.
Alex01
Uh never, I would never change to female ew...
Nestor
No way
jowell
Probably not, but I would give it a go anyway, lol
Paranoid Android
Honestly, except for the whole idea of having to be attracted to the opposite sex, I would really handle switching sexes. I've never been much of the "manly" man. The blokey ideal of Testosterone, cars, beer, sport, and women (often in that order) just does not appeal to me in the slightest. Of course, fashion and make-up don't appeal to me any better, but in my experience the stereotype for men is accurate, while the women's stereotype is just an impression while the truth is much different..........

Apologies to my fellow males, but you guys suck. When you fix up your insecurity issues, maybe I'll be willing to come in and bat for you again sometime grin2.gif tongue.gif

I wouldn't want to be a man. I'm too feminine. I love wearing pretty dresses, makeup & jewelry in moderation, fixing my hair in different pretty styles.

Because I'm a Cancerian female, I love everything about being a woman.

[See "Cancerian woman"] yes.gif

So no, under no circumstance would I ever want to be a man.

I actually hope for this change every month around the same time. LoL Never happens. I LOVE being a girl. We have a lot of advantages, but it would be sooo much simpler being a man. yes.gif

I was kidding girl. Yeah, men have a higher rate of accidents. Specially here in Chile most of the big crashes come from guys who drive as hell, are drunk as hell and suddenly they crash against one of those reckless trees tongue.gif. But commonly, I admit I have a harder time with those grannies that drive on those huge SUVs and are more worried about the cell phone than on the road mad.gif

Alright, but let's don't stray this topic from "who's better driving". Being a woman surely has many perks, and a lot of positive stuff that I wish were more present of men these days, but honestly... I'm happy being a man. grin2.gif

EDIT: Thinking about it better, I would try it only for a day or so. Just to know how the female mind works. My dad is right: "Girls. Just love them, don't try to understand them" yes.gif
glassvampire
Im really not pretty enough and I don't want to be that girl, you know her, the one with the thick eyebrows and the big biceps!

It really does seem like too much work to me anyway.

Im in awe of women partly because I know I couldn't do what they do

But let's all just chill on the generalizations and stereotypes about men, okay?

I really try to stay away from being the stereotypical anything!

And Goalienan, where are you hanging out dear? Not all men are that itchy

lets hope
Lt_Ripley
being a man is easier =

can go around shirtless ( although some really shouldn't ! )

can pee anywhere

get better prices when buying a car ( the dealers think women are stupid , same with mechanics)

not have to carry or bear kids. and too many don't take the responibility ( not just financial but real day in and out responsibility)

lots are pretty lazy - get home from work and sit while his wife gets home from work and goes back to work in the house and cares for the kids.

being a woman is harder work. I don't think men could really do it. (some could)

( and women do the 'tough' jobs too. )

would I switch ? no. although I wouldn't mind the perks.

too true. as a woman I don't get into the make up ect....... but on the whole women don't seem to need to prove themselves to other women. women are more accepting .

So you saw the trophy presentation for the 2007 French Open, too, Goalienan? Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal must have been digging in their nostrils every five seconds. Maybe that's a strategy to discourage hand-shaking or autograph demanding fans.

As for the gender issue, I place myself somewhere between the male and female stereotypes in terms of personality as others have posted. Modifying the gender is vain, and I can't consider that anything less than mental illness. Had I been born female, I'd have dealt with it like any woman must.

grin2.gif If i was a girl, I would be lesbian grin2.gif
gideon zero
The multiple orgasm makes the prospect appealing, but if men are really as bad as women say they are at making love then perhaps the prospect becomes much less appealing, plus the fact that it would involve sleeping with a guy. I'm giving this way too much thought unsure.gif
m. Moe
Hmm.... if I was I would be a lesbian. But hell, on the plus side, I would have my own set of breasts. grin2.gif
theprotecter23
be a woman...lets c...

1-dramatic
2-cares too much about hair make up and clothes
3-sometimes irritating
4-too much mall time
5-not gonna happen, amigo. happy.gif

being a guy is cool, less care about ur public look
and you can drive fast, feel safe.
and guys dont rush off to the bathroom to "do stuff" or talk. thats soo annoying to me and my dudes.

I'm not insecure, I just love misogyny too much to be a woman.

As for your statement about men fitting their gender stereotype more than women, I'd highly disagree. I think it's just as common for each gender to fit these stereotypes, I think you'll find very few people who stray away from these traditional roles and conventions, even though people like to feel as if they have moved away from them.

Yes, you're so right about this one. Oh wait......scratch that part I wrote in my last post about never wanting to be a man. I would only become a man temporarily so I could give my male buddies(as a man) lots of pointers about how to please a woman the boudoir.

Yeah......that, and I think I'd also write a book about it and give them all an autographed copy. Lol laugh.gif

She-ra
Sure. I could be a man easily.

Grew up mostly around my brother's; most of my best friends are male (I have friends that are girls too!!!!); I'm very atheletic and good at drinking games; in the workplace I was always "one of the guys"; guys are sometimes easier for me to relate to; some girls can be very mean; I'm mechanically inclined as well with household stuff like plumbing, patching drywall, the only thing that scares me is installing ceiling fans...when I did mine I hit "9-1"...connected the wires...didn't need to hit the other "1"...lmao...

I don't know. Wow now I feel kind of androgenous...but I like who I am so...I just don't know.

I like getting dressed up and feeling "checked out"...I don't wear much make-up but I like it...LOL High-heels are fun for me; I'm 5'10" so in heels I'm like 6'1" amazon tall...Mutliple O's yeah it would kind of suck not to have that...not feeling something grow inside of me and give birth? NEVER give that up for the world...that was excellent...pain? goes away the outcome is worth every second of pain.

Okay I'll stop rambling... lol original.gif

explorer
I'm thinking...of the English teacher who once told my class that men are 51% male and 49% female. You can guess the reverse.
Why do so many men like to dress up in women's clothes? Ever read the book, Hollywood in Drag?
Why do women look so good in a suit? The differences between m/f are so amplified, except for...

Could I live as the opposite gender?........No.

Wow, I'd make a horrible woman (especially by today's standards), let me tell you that... dark, messy house, wouldn't dress well, wouldn't wear a bra, couldn't cook worth a damn...

and yes I realise that this post may be offensive and I didn't mean anything by it. Just felt compelled to say that.

Interesting thought. I'd like to be able to try it for a while, just for kicks (and to discover more of what the opposite sex likes and dislikes). But I couldn't permanently give up what I am, I don't think.
distortedpandy
I really only want to be a guy for an hour or so. Just to see what its like. laugh.gif

idk, I like being female.

lmao!!!!!! Without question!!!! {I somehow think it has to do with my having been breast fed, this fixation on those wonderful things!!! I'm sure the psychs would have a field day with that one. No, I don't want to go back to the womb.} Perhaps tweaking would be a better word than grabbing, for me anyway.

I think I almost do live as the opposite sex.

1. Know more about cars than my hubby.
2. Rather work in the fields or do something physical. Don't enjoy caring for children or doing housework.
3. Swear like a sailor/truck driver, which ever you prefer. devil.gif
4. Jeans & t-shirts, baby! Can't stand dresses, high heels & all that junk!
5. Drink Jack Daniels instead of wine.
6. Toes curl every time I see a sweeeeeeeet muscle car. cool.gif
7. Curse Eve everytime my TOM comes along. Can't wait for menopause!!!
8. Rather watch football over soap operas.
9. Can throw a softball or a football better than some guys I know.
10. Hate gossip & the cattiness of some women. Would rather get into a fist fight, but knows better! wink2.gif

I really identified as a teenager with Karen Allen's character in "Raiders of the Lost Ark". Guess that says a lot! Except when she put on the dress....but I loved her drinking scene!!! rofl.gif

Of course this is what most men say.
