There is a photo which shows an alleged UFO in China aroung 1900:





Turns out the Chinese used to suspened street lights from wires.

I found a picture of Nanking around 1900:





If you increase the contrast you can't see the wires that the lamps further down the street are hanging from:

Maybe the wires in the original photo have been obscured by poor photography,and the alleged UFO is a lamp.

I think this is some nice work.

Excellent work, Supercar! I'm sure you'll be attacked and your work "debunked," but we need more people like you doing this type of yeoman's work if we are to get to the "Truth."
