As the Mars rover spirit landed in early Janualry 2004, there has been some hubub about this picture that are supposibly UFOs. While some photographs were thought to be just dust on the lenses of the camra, these pictures remain. Still don't beleive in UFOs?


You can see 2 objects in the background quite clearly. what do you think they are?? UFO or hoax.


there is also a second picture. this one you can only see 1 UFO in it.


Are UFOs circling mars?


(I have had some comments on this so I am going to change something. I don't personally beleive in this stuff, I posted this because it is interesting and weird. Please don't go saying crap like UFOs aren't real because that is not a comment that is even worth posting. Some beleive some don't. people who do arnet going to just side with you because you said one thing ok? if you have a real comment though feel free to post it. I have no problem however of specifing your choice in what you beleive in however, just no "they are not real" or "you really think that this is real". respect others opions and yes I understand if you think it is just dust or a flying rock. however I do not recall ever posting this as an alein space ship. that is a common misconception. tell me your reasons on why you think it is what it is, ok?)

Wow, specs of dust!

umm. its either a spec of dust, like spookkid said, or a spot on the camera. its not a UFO

its unidentified. if you could uderstand this thing you would know. I don't think I said that this is the most clear UFO sighting in history

they are dentified,not undentified...there s a site somewhere with more clear photos about these UFO s,and an alien rover that s observing our rovers

Understand what? About ufos? Those are specs of dusts, and they are not ufos. Also, I understand, I don't uderstand.

So why do UFO's look like the dust on my lenses?

It's a speck of dust... do you know how many windstorms occur on Mars?

However, you do say , "the fraze (sic) does not mean alein spacecraft", thus I will then say that these two pictures show a possible UFO, which could indeed be a spec of dust.

Yeah, dust storms on Mars cover nearly the entire planet at times. If you want to say a spec of dust is an alien spaceship what's next? Rocks start transforming into killer robots.

Not that I'm saying these are pictures of UFOs but what do UFOs look like iyho? Do you have a quick desk reference manual on what a UFO is supposed to look like?

One is probably over exposure of a star picture shot. The image got the movement of the star in the sky, the othe can be missing data in RAW format image, some kind of camera glitch. Since we can not identify it, it is an UFO but I doubt it is some kind of alien space ship!

dunno, but certainly not like dust specks on a camera lens ... cause if it looks like a dust speck and its out of focus it is a dust speck

I would like to see the photos enlarged and with greater detail....if possible. At present, I find it very difficult to make anything of them.

so thats where my oversized frisbee went!
