My friend, you don't exercise ghosts. You strongly urge them to pass over or take away their habitat or familiar object...or just get used to them dwelling with you. As for demons, I highly advise against conducting an exorcism yourself, unless your beliefs are firmly rooted in Godly principles and the Jesus system itself. Otherwise, you will be just another pitiful statistic and casualty. Demons will retreat to the nearest vacuum (animal or safe non-believer) when forced by the Word of God. A Christian can not be possessed, as their body is already assimilated by the Holy Spirit. But one unprotected member in your party can be attached or possessed and take the invading entity home with them.

You need to get someone that has experience & knows everything that needs to be known to do this. If you try to do it yourself, you open yourself up for attack.

Someone must have been wishing on a star for an exorcism thread to crop up!

How many does the ghost section have now? An easily navigated million?

/sarcasm

Searches people.

Exactly! Its on the same lines as, lets say you wake up one night and there is an intruder in your home. Would you attempt to confront it and possibly get hurt or killed, or would you call the authorities? Its the same with a Demonic, to attempt to banish it ourselves leaves us open to very violent attacks, so call for help. JN

Anyone can tell me any ways to destroy/exorcise a ghost or demon? Does Exorcism really works?

Don't attempt exorcism your self. It can be extremely dangerous and should only be handled by skilled people. You can try contacting a local preist and asking about doing a blessing on the person/house or contact someone else in your area experienced in exorcism.

More than just dangerous, you're basically issuing a challenge that you may not be up to facing. From what we've been told by very well known and experienced demonologists, it isn't like in the movies where someone flashes a cross, says a prayer, splashes some holy water around, and after a few groans and claps of thunder it's gone. An exorcism of a person or place can take days, weeks or longer. And there is very real physical danger!

Absolutely MP, and also the exorcising or banishing in homes, is alot more common than exorcisms themselves. That is also a very frightening, horrific and dangerous ordeal, and can take a long time as well. Many can get injured during that as well..JN- :passifier:
