Trivia Format

The basic format is quite simple. Someone asks a question, someone else can then try to answer that question correctly. It is not necessary to wait until the previous question has been answered correctly before asking another question. The person who asked a question will be responsible for recognising who successfully answered it correctly, and for responding to incorrect guesses.

To keep things easy to follow, make sure you include a 'Q' to indicate a question, and a 'A' if you are answering a question. It is also helpful if you quote the question you are answering. When informing of a correct or incorrect answer to a question you've asked, it's also helpful to quote the answer and indicate who it is that's answered in your post.

Example

Here's an example of the possible flow of the thread :

Person 1

Q. What's the capital of England ?

Person 2

Q. Who is the president of the United States ?

Person 3

Q. What's the capital of England ?

A. London

Person 1

A. London

Correct - Person3 got the answer

Q. Who is the president of the United States ?

A. George Bush

Person 3

A. George Bush

Yup Person1 is right, thats the answer.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To stop things getting out of hand, only ask 1 question per post, or answer 1 question per post. You can however ask a question and answer someone else's question in the same post.

You don't have to stick to rigidly to the above example, as long as you follow the general format. You are also welcome to post comments etc. alongside your questions and answers.

and finally, good luck and have fun. thumbsup.gif
