I'm gonna throw in a quarter here. I have gotten fascinated by the concept of "astral projecting", and seeing how people seems to get similar results using different techniques. I am also very interested in the mysteries of sleep and dreaming.

First of all the sceptic in me have to ask if you really think this feels real, and not like a vivid dream? Dreams can seem quite real, and together with symtoms of sleep paralysis this could very well be a mind trick. But then again, why are then these experiences so similar? Too you regular astral travellers out there, does everytime you project feel the same way? Do you always see the same realm, and the "silver chord" for that sake? I still remember how vivid my childhood fever nightmares would be. Back then I would even hear voices calling my name after woke up.

Lucid dreaming have always been natural to me, although i am not practising it much anymore. But a few years ago I used to lucid dream alot, but now and then I had some really strange things happening. Lets say I was playing around in a dream, then suddenly everything turns white, a loud sound was ringing in my ears loud as a jet plane passing closeby, and i would have the feeling of a force trying to drag me out of my body. I was of course scared as hell, and felt my self holding tight to the sheet on my bed. After about 15 seconds I would wake up. If i then tried to go back to sleep, the same thing would happen again and again. This always occurred to me on days i slept for long hours, and was lucid dreaming alot.

It strikes me that these symptoms seems very similar to your astralprojection experiences. May there be a link?

My ex-girlfriend also have reported my whole body to start shaking sometimes during my sleep. Do your bodies shake when you feel these "vibrations"?

Also I have a bad habit of answering phonecalls in my sleep :P

UFO Guy: I think you are going too quickly. Try one method daily for one month before you go to another one. After one month, if you had no special experiences or sensations different than "normal", then try another one. If something happened, try the method for some weeks more and see if you get further. It can take many weeks of daily practice until you have your first sign of projecting.

Daniel: Welcome first of all!

For your questions, for me astral projection feels as real as waking physical reality. There is no difference, except for me being able to fly, go through walls and solid objects, observe what is happening somewhere else, visit other dimensions, communicate with spirits etc.

I never saw any silver cord. I think that's something you will see if you expect to. We create our realities with our minds.

Lucid dreaming, in its true sense, meaning that you know that you are dreaming and thus are completely aware and can manipulate and do things in your dream as you like is actually a sort of astral projection. So is normal dreams. The difference is that in dreams you are in a self-created environment where your thoughts, fears, lusts, beliefs etc strongly forms your surroundings and your experience. The same goes for Lucid dreams, but there you have some more freedom as you are aware of dreaming and can change things on purpose as you like. From a Lucid dream you can astral project if you want, just try think of flying out of your dream and out of your body and imagine how it would be to float somewhere in your room or in the neighbourhood.

The feeling of being dragged out of body is just yourself being aware of the separation process, we all project every night, and in some cases we are aware when it happens. You seem to describe sleep paralysis, which is a perfect state to be in for astral projection. It is quite normal that you experience yourself being "dragged" out of body, and unable to move your physical body in such experiences, but just flow along nothing can harm you, in fact it can be quite a joyful experience.

Regarding your shaking body I can't say much, but my body do sometimes seem to shake but I have not gotten it verified by someone else observing me so its difficult to say if it really is shaking or if that is just some energy vibrations within.

Cheers and good luck mate!

Hey Darkbreed.

I am fully willing to start astral projection. I have always been very interested in dreams and counciousness. When I read about Astral Projection, I was just thrilled to realize that the human brain can posess such an amazing ability. I am willing to start practicing tonight. I am setting my alarm for a few hours before I actually get up so I can get in the right state of mind. I know I have had lucid experiences and semi-astral experiences in childhood, and I, now 13, am ready to attempt going to an astral plane.

Last night, I was very tired, but I tried looking at my wall and moving one of my pictures around the wall with my mind. Just to see if I could slip into astral while concentrating on one thing. I began to feel floaty, but I was still very awake, so I gave up. I feel that since I gathered even more info today, I may become sucessful.

Any extra tips before I try to go astral? I am very determined to get something out it.

Hi. I'm trying to AP for awhile and with results - lights, fall down in the bed, voices... but one problem - when this happening i'm scared even than if i know i'll go to AP (sometimes lights etc. happens when i just go to sleep). I'm scared, and this is why I'm trying to open my eyes, i don't know... why i am scared? I really want to go outside my body and see things in astral world, do amazing things - flying, going through the walls etc. Yesterday I experienced so loud and clear "deamon" voice - "aaaah.... shshshshh.... sssssssssss" ... that was so damn scary i even used power to wake up immidiatly. When i woked up, I even didn't want to move, couse i thought that deamon will grab me. I knew it is just things of Ap process, but ... ehh

Wow! I've never looked up AP, but this explains exactly the thread i posted!! Here's the link! Please read, and message me on what you think. I think i'm APing, because i've done it before on accident, i just didn't know what i was doing! NOW I DO!! YAY!

http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum...p;#entry2601377

**EDIT**

I tried to AP last night, but everytime i got my body into the weird place, where your body is soo relaxed that it feels like your glowing, or your all warm inside, and it just feels like your in a different place. Anyway, everytime i got there, my girlfriend would move around, and yank me out of it.

b****! :)

Just playing.. But really.. i'll try again tonight.

davis: You are probably scared because of this powerful new experience and wondering what it can lead to

No need to be scared though, you can not be hurt - and in fact being scared will only attract negative energies. Relax and go with the flow.

Perhaps listening to some soothing music or sound technology like Hemi-Sync etc can help you relax more. This could also help you project more easier.

Check out www.neuro-programmer.com , it got some very nice sessions for relaxing, meditation, and much more.

Good luck!

Skater:

Yes thats very common pre-astral projection experience. Read about astral projection, try out different methods, and sooner or later you'll be out there completely.

Best wishes!

Originally some tips I wrote to a guy who pm'ed me, but I think it may come in handy for other people as well so I'm posting what I told him here:

To get to the basics first: Don't try to astral project at night or when you are very tired, as this most certainly will lead you to black out / fall asleep instead of having a successful projection. Are you doing it in the night? If so this is probably the reason. The best time of day to astral project is in the morning just when you've waked up, or in the middle of day or afternoon / evening. The night is usually the worst time to try as your body and mind is too tired then. Morning is usually the best of them all, as your mind and body is rested, and already in a close state to astral projection from just having slept, so if you just lay still and try to project then this can be successful.

Here is a couple methods you may want to try out:

1. -Wake up, Get up, and go back to bed:

This means, you should put your alarm clock to wake you a bit earlier than normal, lets say 6 hours of sleep and then make your alarm clock wake you up. Then, get up from bed, and do something for 30 min to 1 hour to get yourself awake - it is STRONGLY helpful if you spent this time with reading some books or other material about astral projection as this will affect your subcounscious mind to make it easier for you to astral project.

In any case, after 30min to 1 hour, go back to bed, and do any astral projection method and you may find that it is much easier to get into the state of mind needed and then project from there.

2.

The "Stay awake" method:

Here you simply go to bed when you are tired and have your eyes open. You may blink of course now and then so your eyes doesnt dry up. The point is to just lie in your bed with your eyes open just like if you are awake and just look around in the room and notice everything in the room, take care of looking at all details and making it imprinted into your mind, just lie there in bed with your eyes open until you pass out / fall asleep from being too tired. At this point you may find yourself in your astral body, or in the astral state ready to project, because your body is asleep but your mind/astral body should still be awake as you forced yourself to stay awake - it was your body falling asleep. To enhance this method you can repeat over and over some times like a mantra or self-suggestion in your mind "When my body falls asleep, I will be awake in my astral body and project" - this can increase the effect and program your mind to automatically become aware inside your astral body when you fall asleep.

3. Self suggestions:

This is basically like last part of the above mentioned method, but instead you do any astral projection method of your choice, and you simply say to yourself over and over "When my body falls asleep, I will be awake in my astral body and project" or something similar, for example "I will now enter my astral body and project out of my physical" etc. You get the Idea original.gif

4. Imagine yourself where you want to go:

In this method, you simply go to bed, and you think of the place you want to project- it can be as simple as your own bedroom. The point is to try visualize the place, lets use your bedroom in this example, as good as possible and feel yourself being there. Now, in this example since you are imagining that you are in your bedroom, you should focus your attention and awareness on a specific place in the bedroom away from your physical body. This can be for example the ceiling - imagine yourself floating right under your ceiling, try to really FEEL yourself being up there and how it would feel to float there right under the ceiling. At one point you may feel yourself starting to vibrate or float, then try to increase this feeling and make it stronger, until you separate and find yourself floating under the ceiling. This method is specially useful if you already are able to get into the astral projection state without trouble, when in this state just do as I described. It also helps using self suggestions here too like in the examples mentioned above.

You can of course also use any other "target" of your choice but its best to use a place you know very well, such as the place of family or friends, and visualize and try feel yourself there, as in the example above with the ceiling.

5. Lucid dreams:

If you are able to have lucid dreams (dreams where you know you are dreaming and you are very aware) you can project astrally from these dreams very easy- Just focus your attentions and "will" yourself out of body, just imagine yourself flying out of the dream and out of your physical body and you are free and out flying. If you dont know about lucid dreams or how to achieve them, do a search on google, its tons of info on it out there and for some people this method is more effective than any of the others.

6. Body awareness

In this methods, you try send your awareness out of your body and move it around in different ways etc.. For example, you lie in your bed, and imagine and feel yourself floating out to the right all the way to the wall, then bounce back into your body, through your body, and out on the left side and to the wall on left of you. Then send awareness back again through your body to the right wall etc, just continue doing this for a while, sending your awareness back and forth from right to left, trying to really feel yourself being at those places and feeling yourself floating through your body and out on the other side. After having done this for several minutes, move on to trying to imagine and feel yourself bouncing up and down instead, like sending your awareness up from your body and up to the ceiling, then back down through your body and down to the ground. Repeat this too for a while, and move on to another part: Back and Forth, this means try to feel yourself floating out of your feet and feel your awareness outside your body moving down to the wall by the end of your feet, then move back up through your body and out of your head to the wall at end of your head (if your head, or any other side of your body, is placed directly towards a wall, just imagine yoursel floating through that wall some meters)

Then try to imagine yourself on gentle ocean waves, floating up and down, rocking your body softly up and down, from side to side, back and forth etc. Try to really feel how it would be to lie floating on ocean waves being moved around. You should start feeling your body moving up and down etc just like you actually were on waves. At any point you feel like it you may try to project out of your body.

This method alone can be enough to get you out, but it is also a "loosening" method that makes you aware of your astral body, and makes it more loose and disconnected from your physical body, so actually this method can be something you start with to loosen yourself up from your physical, and then you can do any other astral projection method after it to increase the effects and be more sure to have an astral projection.

7. Ask for help

Yes, you can ask your guides (spirit guides, and guardian angels) to help you out. This has shown to be a very useful method for me. As you are in the state of astral projection, trying to project, simply say out loud in your mind "I ask for help to get out!" or "Please help me get out of my body my dear spirit guides!" or "I would be really greatful for any help I can get to fly out of my body!" and so on. And, you may then suddenly feel like somebody is grabbing your hands and pulling you out, or even like someone is lifting your body up in the air etc. Your spirit guides are always there ready to assist and help you - even when you are out of your body you may ask them to come to help you with different things or to teach you things (an spirit guide actually taught me a method of astral projection)

You may of course try to alter these methods and mix them in a way you prefer and that feels more comfortable or easier for you, as every person is different and some things that work for some might not work for others - but at least now you got several different methods to try out here.

Once you actually DO get out, you may find it useful to say out loud "AWARENESS NOW!" if you find yourself a bit sluggish and not so aware, and also "CONTROL NOW!" if you find difficulties in moving around properly as you want, and even "CLARITY NOW!" if you find you dont see well etc.

THE IMPORTANCE OF DIARIES:

The trick is to get your memory back with you. It's kind of the same problem as with dreams, sometimes we just remember vague parts of them. This is due to what is called the mind-split effect:

When you go out of your body, you are aware of your astral body, and your mind is focused in the astral body. At the same time, your physical body and physical brain is sleeping, and the physical brain is recording whatever the physical body experiences (which is just sleeping). So, when you get back, you have to "overwrite" this physical bodys memory with your astral bodys memory. The best way to do this is to start slowly, by just keeping out some seconds at a time, like 10 seconds, then return to your body while thinking "I will remember this!" and immediately get up from bed and write down your whole experience.

Then you can try to keep out longer and longer for each time you project. Every time you are about to go back to your body, say out loud "I will remember this!". You may also make an affirmation while performing your astral projection method of choice too, where you say to yourself "I will now go out of body and be completely aware in my astral body and remember everything that happens when I return to my physical body".

Every time after projecting, or even trying to projecting and thinking you have failed, write down in a special diary that you have just for this purpose everything you can remember about the experience, all details, from the very beginning of the projection (such as what method you used, sensations you felt before projection, sensations at the moment of separation, sensations and feelings after, things you saw, experienced and so on while out, sensations on moment of re-entering your body, etc) - Write it all down, and read through it after you wrote it down to see if you remember more you can add. Then just let go of the diary or the rest of the day, and later in the evening or night, read through the experience again and maybe you'll notice you remember more details, more things starting to come into your mind.

This diary, if done every time as I just told, will greatly improve your astral projection skills - even just reading it before trying to project will help a lot! Heck, and place it under your pillow at night and when trying to project to further improve the results.

In addition to your Astral Projection Diary, you should keep a Dream Diary. This is a separate diary, where you write down all dreams you have EVERY morning when you wake up - just as with the astral diary, write down everything you can remember from the dreams you had the night before you just woke up. Then read through it once and see if more details can be added, and as with the astral diary, read through it another time later in the evening or day, to see if you perhaps remember even more.

The purpose of this is to increase your dream memory as well as your astral abilities - in total it will make you better at both remembering your dreams, recalling your astral adventures, and becoming a more skilled and good astral projector. In addition, it will start making your dreams more spiritual in nature, you will start to have spontaneous projections at night while sleeping without even trying, that you will either remember in the morning, or you will wake up in the night and remember it after getting back to your body (remember to write down these experiences too!).

It is very important and of great help and assistance for yourself and your spiritual development to do this. I can't stress that enough, you really should get both an Astral Diary, and a Dream Diary, and write down in both of them every day (or at least every morning in the Dream Diary, and every time you try to project, or have a spontaneous projection in the Astral Diary).

It will also be a good reference for you to check your improvement later on, and to go back and review specific episodes and experiences. And it will be great to have it all logged so you can go back and re-read any experience or interesting dream you've had at any time you want to. And as said, reading these diaries both before astral projecting or going to sleep will greatly improve both your astral skills as well as your dreams.

Reading astral projection related books and litterature on the internet etc will also help, as your subcounscious mind will absorb it and put it into work and help you in the background to develop your astral abilities and make you have them more easier.

With all my best wishes for success, and hope you'll have some new interesting astral adventures this night too! (Or try do it in the morning or day as I suggested as its easier then than in the night)

Regards,

Edward Alexander

Thank you for this article; I have a much better understanding now :)

If you don't mind, I have a question regarding astral projection:

Yesterday, I feel that I was about to astral project; my body was vibrating heavily, my eyelids were fluttering, and I felt a floating sensation come around me. But of course, I had to do this with my eyes closed. This may sound stupid, but how would you 'know' when you're out of your body?

Sorry for that question.

Once you are out, you may either automatically find yourself floating outside your body with vision, or you may feel yourself floating and moving around in the room and through walls, then try think of seeing, no need to open the eyes normally as you do not really have closed eyes in the astral form, or eyelids for that matter. Other times you may suddenly find yourself pulled into other realms and come to it there.

Basically just try around until you get things going and find yourself out. You can ask for help and assistance to get dragged out by your spirit guides, often useful, you may feel someone grabbing your hands and pulling you out, or lifting you up.

good luck!

Hey guys,

I'm really excited because I think I came extremely close only about 15 minutes ago. We are on school break, so I slept in. I was about to drift back to sleep, then i thought "I think this could be my time". I literally caught myself on the verge of sleep. I simply concentrated. I just closed my eyes and willed myself "upward". And then something amazing happened -- i started to vibrate. All this took about 3 seconds of thinking. My eyes were shut, and I couldn't move anything, but I was vibrating increasingly violently and I felt like I rose up about 2 feet. I knew where I was, I just knew it. I reached the peek of the vibrations, where I started to freak out. "Am I really doing this?" "What should I do next?" "Will I get hurt?" The feeling ebbed away, as I floated back into my body (it seemed) and woke up. I was shocked.

Then I did it again. It was almost instant. As soon as I concentrated, I was rising with the vibrations. A little more experienced, I thought of rolling out. I thought, roll out, roll out! I tried to move out of my body, but I realized I was already back in my body and I almost rolled out of my bed onto the floor.

I am very, very excited! I didn't think I could come this close. Any suggestions?

By the way - this is the first time I've tried to project in about 2 weeks, but its the first time I tried it in the morning.

Good topic!

I have two questions.

First,There was talk earlier in the thread about healing the sick. This part really popped out at me.

My S.O. is "sick". He has the mind of a philosopher, and has taught me many things about the world. He has projected before, but only once or twice on accident. Anyway. His mind causes him extreme distress, and he's been diagnosed with a few mental diseases. His emotional state (due to his thoughts) has been effecting his physical being. He is always in some form of physical pain.

Is there something I can do for him from the astral? I really want to stop his pain.

Second,

I have insomnia to a chronic degree. I do not take medication for it, because I fear the pills will affect my attempts at projecting. I also cannot relax, but I guess that might have been a given. There ARE a few positions I can lay in when trying to sleep I am relatively comfortable in. Which leads me to my question, Does it matter what position you lay in when projecting?

EDIT:: typo

ill share a technique that works for me. i would suggest however that you are a little skilled in lucid dreaming, as this technique requires it. i will explain the background. basically for the past few months ive been experiencing spontanoues pre projection symptoms, feel myself rising ect see myself floating away, gushes of wind vibrations. but i was always to scared to pursue the actual projection. a few months ago i had my first lucid dream and the exitment started to wake me up but i didnt fully awake i remained in the hypnogogic state and the vibrations and noise flooded in my arm rose and it was struggling to get out i then heard a voice and got very scared and the resumed full consciouness. move forward a few weeks, i was flying in a dream and i was aware of the slow speed i was going, i then throught to myself wait a minitue i should be able to fly as fast as i want, im dreaming..IM DREAMING?! i remained calm but then realsed that i almost had an oobe experince through a lucid dream in the past. i started shouting IM DREAMING ! IM DREAMING! really tryin to get myself to wake up. the dream faded and i entered the hypnogogic state and i automtically floated out of my body. it was my first projection and i was intrigued i was above my bed could see my body could see my whole room. i was bobbing like i was on water. i then willed myself into my body and gaained full consciousness. basically my technique consists of entering a state of lucidity in a dream and then gradually waking yourself up. i do this by gettin myself exited, i then automtically enter the hypnogocid state rather than waking straight up as i am conscious in this state projection occurs automtically, thats my techniques anyway. i like this as you dream every night this give you a chance to project everynight

Last night around 10PM, i was drifiting in and out of sleep. I knew i was falling asleep for the finality of it, yet for some aching reason i willed to stay awake. "inbetween", i almost had a spontaneous OBE! I froze up and felt vibrations, pretty strong ones, intensely for 5 seconds!

It was great, and my first spontaneous symtom.

Projecting from lucid dreams are one of the best methods around.

So if you have lucid dreams, which basically means dreams where you know you are dreaming so you can control the dream, then go ahead and imagine yourself as further floating away from the dream scene, from your physical body in bed, and into endless space and beyond.

It works quite well and is one of the best methods on having astral projections, as a Lucid Dream is a sort of Astral Projection on its own.

Best wishes

To KirillsLoverBoy:

Regarding your questions, I would like to give some tips.

1. My best advice would be to teach him some relaxation techniques, such as meditations etc, using relaxing audio, guided meditation in audio format, etc. This can be very useful to help with stress of any form. In addition you could do healing yourself for him, as long as you have his permission,

2. To solve your insomnia problems, I would have to refer to answer 1. For your specific question if it matters how you are positioned I would say no, but most people do seem to find it easier to project by being on their backs. However, people project in all kind of positions, the important part is to be relaxed enough and keeping your awareness with you as your body falls asleep.

There is another method of astral projection that I personally use a lot, and it is much easier and quicker to do as well, for me at least. This method is what I simply call "Inner eye projection" and basically consists of seeing what you are doing in your "mind" instead of actually projecting completely from your body. I have found this method to be equally useful, and much easier to do, the difference is to me that you do not experience yourself as being in a separate location "physically" as you do not exit your body, but simply view it all within your mind. I suppose you can call it a form of remote viewing, and then again remote viewing is a form of astral projection.

Since I have already written about this method on my website before, I will simply copy and paste how I started doing this here:

I will try to describe another method I use to get in contact and get answers on questions I have, and to generally just explore the vast regions of Existence.

I have created an astral world of my own, where I can go to whenever I want when meditating. In this World, I have a mountain, and one of my Spirit Guides are present there to guard the place and make sure it is always kept free from others than myself and those whom I permit to enter. He also guards a portal which leads to my Astral Sanctum, which basically is a room I have created, where I have various objects and things placed that I can use to gain various information. For example, in this room I have a big screen covering the whole of one wall, and in front of the screen I have two chairs with various controls on them. These chairs are for me and my Guardian Angel or any Spirit Guide or other entity I want to have with me. The chairs themselves function to activate the screen, so that I can ask a question, for example about a past life, and it will be shown on the screen visually. Then I can simply fly into the screen, and I will BE in that previous life and experience and see it just as if I am there. I can do the same thing with other entities, for example if I want to call on an ascended master, I ask him to appear on my screen if he is available and want to be in contact with me, and then when he appears I can either just communicate with him on the screen, or make him come out of the screen and manifest in the room I am in, or I can go into the screen on various journeys with him.

This place is extremely useful to say the least as I can get the answer to virtually any question I may have, and find out anything I need. The way it works is that the place itself is directly connected with the Superconscious, and through what is called the Akashic Records to the Source of All Existence itself, and thus it has access to everything that ever has happened, is happening, or will happen. Things that will happen are always only possible outcomes, and can of course be changed, so the future is not something set in stone and when trying to view the future you have to have that in mind, and also be aware of the fact that many different future timelines exist. You can even create your own future timelines, where you for example have the exact life you want, a great and positive future, and then "grab" this future timeline with you back to your present and implant it in yourself as a seed that will grow to make your future become the way you want it to be, as long you follow and do the things that needs to be done for that specific future to properly unfold for you.

Well that was a lot of talk about this place itself, so now I will try tell you how you can create it and go there.

First of all, do a meditation, enter an altered state, and visualize yourself in a place of your choice - this will be the world you are creating. Personally I visualized a nice valley surrounded by mountains and nature, with great fields around, rivers and lakes. Then I envisioned a portal on top of one of the mountains, and asked my spirit guide to come there and guard it, and thus visualized him there as well. Then I did this meditation several times to properly manifest this reality in the astral planes, meaning that I would daily go and visit this place in my mind in my meditations, and just fly around, explore the scenery and landscapes, and make sure all was the way I wanted.

Then I moved on to the next step, which is to go through the portal, and visualize yourself entering a room or other place of some sort, for example like I described above. I have created a room that have various things that has a personal meaning to me in the room to bring it a sort of familiarity and spiritual strength, among other things I have placed my altar in there which I use in real life for various rituals, and all items that I have on this altar. I also have a couple plants by a window, and the window has a great view out over the valleys and mountains of the previously mentioned world that I entered this room from.

You decide yourself how you want to decorate the room and what to put there, I do however recommend the screen and chairs for making contacts and getting answers to things you wonder about. So, basically do this meditation and these visualizations for some time until you have properly created it as a place you can easily enter in your mind whenever you want, and you can use your pendulum to ask your guides and guardian angel etc to help you make the place strong and protected and in assisting with maintaining it and helping you use it for the purposes you want to use it for.

Then, all you have to do is to finally start going to the next step, which is to enter your World at some time you want to find some answers of something, then enter your Portal to your own special Astral Sanctum room, and sit down in a chair, have your guardian angel with you to make sure all contacts and experiences you have are truthful and real and that you are protected against false prophets and deceivers. Then just turn on the screen in whatever way you have chosen it to be done and ask the questions you want and let the answer appear on the screen.

I guess that should be enough to get you started on such a work, which I personally have found tremendously useful and its great to just enter this world to relax and renew oneself whenever needed. For example in my World all the lakes and rivers have Holy Water that cleanses me and charges me with the Holy Spirit if I pour it over me or take a bath in it.

It is your world and you can make it however you want it, I hope these examples will be of some interest and use.

Every thought manifests itself on some level of existence, and the astral realms / planes are as real, and more real, than this physical realm we find ourselves in now. You may be able to perceive this Astral realm as vividly and clearly as this physical one, perhaps even more clear and real, specially if you are able to fully astral project. However, this is not necessary for the above method, as it is in its essence an "all in the mind" exercise where you do not need to actually astral project but simply perceive the mentioned places and receive the answers in your mind, in your way - this can be visual, or as thoughts, ideas, sudden knowledge, audible and other ways of perception.

The important thing to remember is to trust your intuition and what you feel, and listen to yourself, to your inner guide, and try to sense and feel what is your "own" creations, and what is "external input" - in other words, find the difference between your own thoughts and outside communication. With some practice this will become more and more easy until it is as clear as the difference from speaking yourself to listening to someone else talking to you.

Best of luck be with you, and blessings

how come everyone who says they can do this won't get it verified? :unsure2:

Many of us have gotten it verified so we do not need to. The best thing for anyone else to do is to verify it for themselves as well rather than sitting waiting for other people to prove something for them. Personal experience is the only way to truly know anything.

Cheers.

can you show me how you got it verified? and yes im trying it at the same time as well. Im trying to use a technique that has to do with sleep paralysis so the tricky part is getting into sp

I got my experiences verified (and I still do) by checking up the things I saw, the most easy to verify is when you go out of your body and check something happening in another location which you can verify once you get back. I have also had it verified by doing astral projections together with other people whom have been able to report back identical experiences, and I have checked previous lives that I have been able to verify and other things. Once you learn how to project frequently you too will probably spend the first year or so doing various experiments to get things verified, personally I have been doing it for more than 15 years now and the reality of the phenomena is not even something to discuss for me as there is no doubt about it being real by now.

Of course you can be tricked in the astral realm too though, just as you can here in your physical world, so you have to learn how to distinguish certain things and experiences as well. The limits between the Internal and External worlds are somewhat melting together and harder to separate between compared to complete physical experiences. You have to remember you can create your own worlds, even other entities, in the astral realms.

As far as sleep paralysis comes, it is not needed for astral projection, the method I described above has turned out to be quite a useful method to me and less of a hassle. But people are different and some have it easier with other methods, I recommend you try a specific method at least a month on daily basis before you start with another method.

Good luck, might see you out there some day, cheers

Compelling but hardly an objective verification. In fact, if it is so easy & so real, then why hasn't it been verified scientifically? That's a rhetorical question because I already know the answer. Many have tried to objectively verify and fail with just as many excuses.

I have been doing this for more than 15 years (20 in fact) with hundreds of 'projections' under my belt and I find exactly the opposite. Sometimes, I find my wife is not in bed next to me when she should be and is when I break out of the 'projection'. Other times I find that the kids are playing in the lounge room only to find that they were playing in the back yard and never ventured into the lounge room. The list goes on.

Imagination is a powerful function of our brains, we use it all the time, but let's say there are worlds which are not part of our imagination but we can imagine worlds/entities in these worlds  How do you know & make the conclusion that one is an internal world and one is an external world when you so put it they are "melting together and harder to separate between"? Just curious.

So, we can safely put these experiences and the belief they are real projections out of ones body into the "faith" category. Much the same as belief in god. We get the same anecdotal evidence from that belief.

Cheers
