MongoMagnificent Posted May 21, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2009 "In Richardson, Texas there's a legend that a spirit haunts a local haunted house. Apparently it attacks girls, strings them up in the rafters and then the bodies mysteriously disappear. Some kids I know saw a body hanging in the cellar of that haunted house." - Richard, TX http://www.hellhoundslair.com/ Anyone ever heard of this? I can't imagine it being true.. Stormcrow Posted May 22, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2009 I doubt it. It'd have severe media attention if this were true... Girls disappearing and being strung up in rafters? Sounds like a mad killer--and we'd know about it.
DarkNova@ Posted May 22, 2009 #6 Share Posted May 22, 2009 Yeah, I doubt it is real. Anyways, like Ebony said the press would be all over it. Here is a link to some ghost stories from Richardson, Tx. Most seem pretty lame. Richardson, Texas Spooks!

Mantis914 Posted March 22, 2014 #12 Share Posted March 22, 2014 A church close by where I work is rumored to be haunted by children and an axe killer here in Pleasant Grove. That's not too far from Richardson.
blitzen Posted March 31, 2014 #13 Share Posted March 31, 2014 I live close-ish to Richardson, (Burleson) I've never heard of it. I'd definitely like to check it out though!
DeWitz Posted March 31, 2014 #14 Share Posted March 31, 2014 I don't live anywhere near Richardstown, Maryland, but it is purported to be the location of a meat cleaver murderer who hoisted his victims' bodies into the rafters of an abandoned barn, and whose exploits have been forever underinvestigated--do you think it could be related? emberdawn Posted April 6, 2014 #15 Share Posted April 6, 2014 Euless Texas has a place like that too. It also has a cementary type memorial for those who were murdered in the town. Could be a lot of activity in that place. I drive by it of an occassion creeps me out everytime. Havent heard about the Richardson site.

Kylynnlanae Posted June 1, 2018 #17 Share Posted June 1, 2018 I live in Montgomery, Texas, next town over is Richardson. This myth is straight off supernatural episode that takes place in richardson. Not real. There are however many abandoned cottages/cabins in the woods and i wouldn't doubt there being some paranormal activity given the towns age. I know here in Montgomery there is a lot of activity as well as in spring (old town spring TX is one of the, if not THE, most haunted place in texas)
