I suppose they already do, if you consider astral projecting.

GUYS I HAVE A CRAZY IDEA! BUT DON'T POST UNLESS YOU AGREE WITH ME!

Nice thread you got here.

What's your definition of the "astral world"?

The OP is not saying that at all. He's asking a "what if" question. Nothing more. Non sequitor.

Well, given that there is exactly no evidence for this "astral world", then the answer would have to be "nothing".

Are you familiar with what skeptics are and why he was asking them not to post?

He just doesn't want to debate it and that's fine. If you don't believe start your own topic for a debate but the OP just wants opinions on a what if scenario as to what it might be like.

Well. For one thing. The business of teledildonics would be totally bust along with any birth control producing firms. :D

we have many planes the way we interchange and intertwine is threw portals and partical fluxes, the planes are different galaxys a spaceship could go there , uh i dont call the sprirt realm a plane but it is there is a realm where are dreams go that is more of a personal level

No, we don't. And no they wouldn't.

I believe that's referred to as a persons subconscious. Not a "spirit plane".

Ok in the science world what exactly is a subconcious? It is a Motherboard of sorts where information is stored. Yes I understand our brains always capture Information "subcinciously" all the time, and during sleep which is where our brains are in shut down mode of our concious being,"Physical" brain. But it cant explain the everything that is stored in our brain! it just cant and niether can science! Show me the evidence that says they know exactly to the T what our brains do. They dont, they try and try but they just havnt overcome that yet. And yes even at times scientists and realists have no explanation so what then? Its just all of a sudden "inconclusive" further research and investigation is required. But thats life! Everlasting and yet Sublimly Uncontrolled!

Everyone would have these really irritating stringy things attached to the back of their heads, they would get tangled, it would be mayhem, but nobody would ever get lost, because they could just follow their strings back the way they came. Giant Marshmallow men would walk the streets, and the TV people would be out and about.

There would exist a massive library at the center of the universe containing all the knowledge that could possibly be, where most of the world would sit and watch porn.

You don't understand the definition subconscious.

You don't know what the word "motherboard" means.

You can't spell subconscious correctly.

I would suggest that you spend time understanding what subconsciousness is and how human beings use it.

Furthermore, while science and psychology cannot prescribe meaning to all of the fundamental aspects of the human psyche, a basic understanding of the gestalt and common psychological interactions that humans partake in daily might be a nice place to start.

edit: and this "it cant explain the everything that is stored in our brain! it just cant and niether can science! " Made me literally laugh.

Well excuse me for being one letter off! LOL

I understand more about the "subconscious" than you and your smothered outlook on life can fathom. I respect your views krs, Its just not all so absolute. A motherboard is an important component in any working machine. It is the part of something that stores information. That runs and accumilates basic or all functions to that machine. To someone who helped build computers I believe I know a bit about a mainframe :). You make me laugh all the time KRS. You fill your life with booksmarts so you can do nothing but one up somebody just to make your day! LOL.

And pertaining to the subject matter all our worlds are intertwined. Metaphysical, physical, astral, inprobable. Its all here its what you dicide to let be apart of your life or accept.

Subconscious! Hmm what is it then KRS? Hmm give me an absolute blueprint of what science has come up with, seeing as you've almost made yourself a spokesperson. I do believe science has a definate and extremely important part of life but! science cant explain everything. O as to my comment, I'm sure science can explain the physical matter of what makes up our brains, but not whats in or creates the subconcious. Its information, what is the battery? Energy, right? Where is this ultimate energy? And what is it?

And yes we have a "basic" understanding.

Approaching entirely from this "what-if I believed in the astral world" angle: the OP's question presumes first that the two are not already intertwined, or at least fails to qualify what the difference would be or how we would be able to identify it, so it is hard to answer - it would be like saying, "What would happen if you mixed soda pop with {insert scientific formula for a suitably obscure liquid}?"

First, I am not sure nor do I know if you're sure, that soda pop doesn't already contain this other liquid, and without knowing anything about this other liquid except for its name or formula and what little vague information I may remember hearing about it, I would have absolutely no way to even guess at what would happen or how I would even know if that was already happening, and if it isn't, what it would actually look like or do that would allow me to identify the reaction - all this uncertainty is then amplified by my own lack of deep authoritative knowledge of either real-world or metaphysical principles and laws that govern such reactions.

Yes this is very true but the op is just asking for opinions in the matter. Even though in your opinion this plane doesnt exist :)

First off, a motherboard doesn't store information (unless you're going to nitpick and argue that the BIOS counts).

Secondly, there are entire fields of study dedicated to understanding how our mind works both physically and mentally. I offered you suggestions in my prior post regarding particular areas to begin your search.

Finally, the energy used by the brain is created in metabolic processes, the same as any other type of energy the body creates for other functions. There is nothing mystical about how the brain is powered by the body or where the energy comes from.

Yes its just an Internal mechanism Just like any other product of the body. But you still havnt answered my question. LOL, where does it come from? You say its a substance already induced and reproduced in our brains but there is an ultimate energy source that is connected throughout all things. I understand we eat food, then they produce energy. We use that enrgy. Then dispose. But where is the original source? Food grows under light. The sun Fuels the growth of food, therefore what causes the ultimate resource? Science has also proven that the human body can absorb energy without eating. Also just by absorbing energy from the sun. Causing heat, which is energy.

After the big bang, when the universe began to cool, clouds of elements began to pool together.

Due to the effects of gravity, these pools of elements began to condense and form into stars. Energy is released by stars as a result of the elements that comprise them.

Energy emitted by our star, the sun, reaches earth and finds an atmosphere supporting life. Plants and animals absorb the energy that comes from the sun.

Animals eat the plants, and some animals eat the animals eating the plants, and that chemical energy is transferred from one organism to the other via chemical reactions during the digestive process.

Animal brains use this naturally produced energy to fuel the chemical and electrical reactions of neurons which in turn allows our brains to function.

One aspect of that functionality is a mechanism by which information is processed on a non-conscious level (ie a level that we are not actively aware of). This is a rudimentary description of the subconscious.

There is not some kind of mystical life energy that powers all creation with some unknown start point. It's all chemical reactions that are fueled by the energy released by stars.

Fiest off didnt they disprove the big bang theory? Second yes that is how energy is made and absorbed. But they are so many other types of energy that are made as well. As I said before heat. everything has its own certain energy. There are so many other kinds of energy that are still unexplained. Blackholes are an infinate source. So yes in a way we are both right we live off of the universe, and everything in it. Rather chemical or mystical. So in return everything requires this "chemical" so the creation in any type of form is almost endless is it not?

I'm not even sure what you're saying here. The universe contains within it processes whereby energy is released. Energy is not a "chemical", and there is nothing mystical about it. Energy is also not endless. Eventually the universe will, hypothetically, advance to the state where there is no longer usable free energy in a process known as entropy.

It is endless! A certain type can end yes but another is more "reborn".

"and that chemical energy is transferred from one organism to the other via chemical reactions during the digestive process." What you are saying here that energy start's out in a chemical form, but it's not chemical?

Hypothetically advance. That would mean it would be infinate. So you say the universe would just die off? But in the big bang theory the star died did it not, Supernova? Which created life? Right? So for something to die it usually creates life not nothing. Thats proven in science. No matter what dies off something feeds off of it to produce some new form of life.
