Taken

8 posts in this topic

Good news for those of us in the UK the BBC has just won the rights to show Taken by Stephen Spielberg. It is 2 hours long for each of the 10 episodes but we will get it uncut without commercials so they will each be 90 mins long.

Any idea on when it will start?

It looks really good.

I shall look forward to that. Should be interesting.

By the way, does anyone notice the similarity between the above image and the scene in Close Encounters where Barry has just been abducted and his mother runs out to see the clouds swirling and lights disappearing over Muncie, Indiana?

I suppose since Spielberg did that shot originally, he has every right to do it again? Heh heh heh

Looks interesting but from my experience of US shows Althalus it will more than likely be a cut down version to what they will be showing in the US, and I agree LB it does look like the scene from Close Encounters you can almost hear "Barrrrryyyy" laugh.gif
