Excellent photos Sakari. Really nice, I like the lighting in the last 2. What kind of camera did you get?

You have no excuse now. You live in one of the most beautiful places on this earth so I will be expecting great things from you.

I'm not familiar with GE cameras but it looks like it takes good clear photos. What kind of zoom do you have?

15 x optical....Not sure on digital ( won't use digital anyway )

Now there is something you don't see every day!

Is the fox a male? Grey foxes don't show up around here very often...or should I say they don't show themselves very often?

Love these photos thanks for posting them.

That is the male, the female did not come out for that.....They have 2 kit's that we know of :)

The fawn kept walking to him, curious...Was funny to watch...

What are those? No animals like those here.

Grey Fox.....

They are also what you hear on those " bigfoot audio recordings ".

Nice!

Looks like you were loosing your light in this shot. But still a nice photo.

I'm not proud of this but back in my teenage days when I had a trap line I caught a couple of these guys. I also shot one once...I haven't seen a live one since then. This may sound funny but maybe someday I will have paid my karmic dept to those that I killed and will be able to get a photo of one.

Yes, they show up around sunset....

Hey, I bow hunted, and killed a lot of what I would love to have on film and living now....I understand 100%.

So I took a few days off last week to do a couple of over nite back packing trips up to the mountains to take some fall foliage photos. I'll post the pretty pictures of the fall colors in the photo gallery if your interested.

I also took a drive out to the middle of nowhere (the great basin) to look for some wild horse's.

Not more than 3 miles into my first day I ran across this this unusual site.

I have never seen them hanging out in a family group before. I sat down at a respectful distace and watched them for a good hour before the cow and calf moved off into the woods, leaving me and the bull alone.

After the cow and calf left the bull got up and wandered off in the same direction that I was heading, he didn't seem to mind my company, so I followed.

I had to climb several cliffs to get pics of these guys. Bear Grylls would have been proud. Once I got up to them I was relieved to find they had no fear of me so I didn't need to try to sneak up on them.
