Binaural Ubiety

Recommended Posts

I've been having lots of it lately, like once per day. What could it mean? Does anyone even know what causes it?

I guess science would say its an aberration or quirk of brain function, but it sure is uncanny. One alternative explanation, that would depend on prophetic dreams being a possibility, and I certainly wouldn't dismiss that, would involve your not having remembered the dream, until the event occurred again, in real life.

i don't know what it's caused from, but deja vu has always fascinated me. i like to imagine that it's because time is not really linear. if i try explaining further i'll get all confused and you'll think i've lost my mind....

When I studied psychology of the eye (yeah, its a course lol) I was taught that one possible reason for dejavu occurs when there is a disruption between what you see, and the recognition of it in memory.

There's a link here if you're interested.

I remember a while ago hearing that dejavu could be a problem with brain funtion and senses being slower than usual. The same way that a subliminal message gets stuck in your head when you scroll through a magazine with a subliminal advertisement. Your eyes and other senses pick up on whats happening, but your brain waves are slow. So you see whats happening but in reality what you're sensing is actually the past by the tiniest microsecond giving your brain the illusion that you have seen or heard or been in that exact position before.

It's been a while since i heard this so I'm not sure. Its all just theory.

Some people have it often, some people never have it. Apparently it can be brought on my stress, tiredness, etc., and is much more common in younger people.

There are many different scientific theories but no one understands it fully.

Deja Vu is also common in patients suffering from epilepsy, which would indicate some abnormality in regular brain functions.

Basically no one really knows, but the evidence points towards it being an irregular brain function rather than something paranormal :)

If you are having one Dejavu experience every 3 to 5 years and you travel a lot...that is potentially paranormal...but every day...you may want to see a doctor and rule out a seizure episode..

I've never had any seizures and I've seen my share of flashing things, only thing I can think of is my ADHD and Aspergers

also sometimes I can get it for 3 days a row, sometimes not for a week, sometimes every few days, sometimes more than once a day.

Technically, those two should not give you such problems.....tell me about your diet...

I eat mainly meat... I eat a bit of fruit.. not so much salad? errr...

Get back to a ballanced diet...does not sound like carbs are taken into consideration...also your electrolites may be way off...You need some carbs dude...

Well I drink lots of water, and I'm pretty damn fat - I feel pretty clueless right now

It still sound like you are not taking in enough carbohydrates..that is a problem and can be related to survival....

Then how the hell do I fix that, I don't see how I could be lacking carbohydrates.

Given what you have reported in relation to your diet it is obvious...recommend adding two bowls of cereal and milk....chose anyone you want...or perhaps some rice and/or a potato...at the very least twice a week..

I eat lots of rice and I love potato, I drink loads of milk...

You should not be having Dejavu experiences every day....what you presented initially was an unbalanced diet...that could cause an unbalance..but if your suggesting your diet is balanced....having Dejavu experience's every day is not normal....I would recommend an

evaluation to rule out a seizure disorder....not all seizures are apparent...

You could be having them and not knowing that you are having them....this is why I suggest you rule that issue out with the help of a physician.....Dejavu is often related to reincarnation....perhaps you live somewhere, where you lived in a past life and remember it

well...

If it is happening every day I would still go with a clinical evaluation....if nothing is wrong then perhaps...

The only thing the seizures could be are most likely when I have little muscle spasms, but that's just because energy in them builds up and I gotta kinda release it or it gets uncomfortable, not a big deal.

If I was having them and not knowing is there any way to tell without having to go to a doctor, I have enough things to worry about =|

Seizures are relatable to Neurology....muscle spasms need not occur during a seizure...this is a very dangerous thing my friend....you need to see a specialist...

Yea, do you have missing time, while you are awake? Have your friends ever mentioned you zoning out? Do you ever stare at something too long and can't break your gaze???

Those are all symptoms of epilepsy.

I get tired, I day dream, I focus on spots randomly, pretty sure that's a part of ADHD, generally getting bored of whatever I'm doing and staring out the window blankly. Short attention span, I don't "lose time", I do have a bad memory though.
