Syrian people Support Their President

411 posts in this topic

time to put things in motion

i been seeing so many lies on media and sites lately

even some arabic media to promot certain agenda

first : syria and daraa and all cities been celebrating Thursday evening

and carried on to 2:00 am friday morning

chanting support for president bashar al assad his pics etc etc

the west and some arabic medias don't show those live events

but the syrian cameras where there in the town of daraa . tartous .

latikkia , damascus , Der Alzor and more

by thousands and thousands cars blocked the streets

to make things clear .. first the Mosque event

http://english.peopledaily.com.cn/90001/90777/90854/7330315.html

although i don't agree with what the author say but it's the Only lead

i found online at this moment that shows this news .. appearntly news

being ignored .. not cut off

the armed group who made the Mosque as place of their operations

.. now the other media rarely .. if never showed this

following the events president bashar made some major changes in so little while

by some of his staff on his behalf on tv

which .. not seen in media also the statement includes

1-lifting decades-old emergency laws and restrictions on political freedom at once

" west media twisted this truth and said the will consider "

of course progenda however ... the staff said applied TODAY

which was the major announcment

2-the rest were about living measures and financial like bonus to payments

and 25% incease

3- release of all people arrested during after .. the protest in that area

4- releasing some of the political activitists been arested

with other few good stuff i don't recall and VERY FUNNY I COULDN'T FIND ONLINE

.. no surprise however am bringing news

------------------------------------------

after this annoucnement syrians burst out the streets of " daraa " first

Der Al Zor - Tartous - Lattikia - Damascus and more

chanting support for president bashar and his rule

and from the comments of hunderds of them pretty p***ed of by the outside

media promoting ideas and lies " appearntly not just me "

Am talking live events here .. syrian tv .. cities of daraa and all over syria

not smuggled tapes .. no sources

thousands of thousands were on the streets with bashar pics

and hunderds called the syrian tv showing totall support for president bashar

i was bit confuse first but live feed don't lie specially when you

know your country it's cities and see where the shooting video is at

and thousands of people holding pics of bashar .. am relived

very very interesting .. i couldn't find ANY video of this stuff online

but it's ok .. things are pretty close to normal again ..

and at the end things will get clear and those news will reach out

apart from the media cover up to facts

so i'll keep an eye out for them

funny enough other news channels were making " urgent reports "

of protest where syrians cameras " live " broadcasting people

with president bashar pics and chanting support

HOWEVER

there's the syrian news site which shows what's been ignored .. twisted

by the outside media Right Here

apologize for the video of people march to support bashar

but am sure it'll be on internet in a while

i'd record and upload but my internet connection pretty slow

however there's nothing to hide syrian tv plays live events from the area

" supposedly " having protest .. and they keep playing them recorded

and what you see is quiet the opposite .. tens of thousands cars and on feet

chanting bashar and holding his pics

-----------------------------------------

added today the president release two other annoucnements

and today syrian people marched all over syrian cities showing support

and chanting the name of Bashar Al Assaad

What Syrians need to do is capture the snipers alive and make them confess on video that they are the enemy of the nation and than upload to youtube.

Whats happening in Syria looks exactly like whats happening in Libya.

-nobody really knows who the rebels are and who is sniping civilians yet the western media says its the government killing its own people?!?!?!?!

b.s. Why would the government kill civilians in Libya when its fighting rebels with military fire power and air support from the crusaders?

Its ass-backwards logic!

Hang in there KOS........ a united people is a chain that cannot be broken!

The New York Times posted this article and youtube video today claiming the Syrian government unleashed its forces, firing on peaceful demonstrators trying to march into Dara’a.

One problem........ where are the gun shots and protesters being killed?

Here's the video they are using:

Syrian Troops Open Fire on Protesters in Several Cities

By MICHAEL SLACKMAN

Published: March 25, 2011 http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/26/world/middleeast/26syria.html

CAIRO — Military troops opened fire on protesters in the southern part of Syria on Friday, according to news reports quoting witnesses, hurtling the strategically important nation along the same trajectory that has altered the landscape of power across the Arab world.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators in the southern city of Dara’a, on the border with Jordan, and in some other cities and towns around the nation took to the streets in protest, defying a state that has once again demonstrated its willingness to use lethal force.

The new round of protests and bloodshed came one day after the Syrian government tried to appease an increasingly angry popular revolt with talk of improved political freedoms and promises of restraint. Instead, it unleashed its forces, firing on peaceful demonstrators trying to march into Dara’a, according to The Associated Press and

posted on YouTube. There were reports of security forces firing on civilians in cities around the country, as well.

I have a question. :)

I'm not really informed about middle eastern politics and all that. I've seen both government supporters and rebels on the TV news here.

Knight of Shadows... is it at all possible that some people in Syria don't like the government? What would happen to a group who demonstrated against the government... hypothetically since you don't believe it happened. Does Syria have a right to free speech and peaceable assembly for those who don't like the government and wish to speak against it? From what I've read on a few law information sites, it does not.

I sure find it odd that you can't find any of the pro-government news clips on the internet. The entire internet's not owned by western media...

I should have created a screenshot of the link. The newyorktimes has revised their article.

It now says:

Instead, it unleashed its forces, firing on peaceful demonstrators in and near Dara'a, according to a witness. *Snip*

The video I posted was in the original nyt article.

A new video contained within an entirely new paragraph is is now present in this revised article.

The new video in the new paragraph now shows people looking at a group of collected dead men.

The video is graphic:

*Snip*

So what is the reader supposed to make of this? The original video was bogus.... no gun shots and protesters being killed? Than the article was removed and replaced with this emotional-captioning one and a half skin piercing minute of grieving pain.

...whats up with that???????.

PMSL!

Well....i woukd be if this weren't so tragic.

knight - IF there are no protests...no LARGE scale protests...no mass protests...no protesters....

then why has bashir made concessions?

why has the state of emergency been (according to you) been lifted?

why the financial pay off?

why has the governer of dara been sacked?

if there are no protests then why the concessions?

they can speak free " as long they don't insult " anyone

But that's the whole point of free speech. To say what you want, how you want, when you want and about who you want. What you said is almost an oxymoron.

"You can say what you want just so long as it isn't insulting."

So if I went into dowtown Damascus and yelled "President Assad is an incompetent prick" through a loudspeaker, would I be expected to be shot in the face?

ohh here comes the troll .. hello dekker !

michael i won't comment to you .. time to hold your paper up

the paper that says " whatever he says "

dekker unless you didn't pay attention

i didn't say there wasn't protests

but they calmed after the annoucements and the events by the media

were bigger than they really are the death etc etc

the mosque event was base for terrorists group armed and filled with weapons

now you consider this friendly ?

well if your head is some where the sun don't shine then you'd see

it as friendly act to stash guns in Mosque

there was protests but the media carried on every march made to support

the president they say it's against the goverment

they make things of areas while video live shooting show the opposite

after all for you it's just oppertinty to troll more of course :D

but go on am in good mood today

so, finally, you admit that there have been large scale protests across syria in the last few days!!!!

but i ask myself - what is it in the perfect peoples paradise of baathist syria that anyone could possibly be protesting about?

perhaps you could explain what the protests were about for the benefit of the board...after all - as you've 'proven' the western media is lying about events in syria and so you can speak for the people of syria and let us all know what these protests are really about....

They are protesting for the same reasons half a million people protested in London today... high unemployment, rising costs and corruption.

This ain't about autocracy or democracy!

Its people fed up of witnessing the gap between the rich and the poor widening and mean while the cost of living is rising quickly.

There are young people between the ages of 18-30 who cannot envision a life of success before them because the system has been looted by the very people democratically elected into office.

These protests are not limited to religious dictator states. The anger is genuine and the actions speak volumes. People all around the world know the score. They know they've been picked last.... thrown on the losing team. These people know the deal. They know they've been deceived and they want their piece of the cake.
