AliceCoopersGirl Posted August 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2004 Elvis Aaron Presley died this day 27 years ago. The King of Rock and Roll stills lives on through his music. BTW,I've never seen him working down my chip shop!

Does Bruce Campbell's portrayal of Elvis in the movie "Bubba Ho-tep" count? Edited August 16, 2004 by Stewey1972

Michelle Posted August 17, 2004 #7 Share Posted August 17, 2004 Elvis died on my fifteenth birthday. I'll never forget 32 girls at my slumber party hearing about it. It took at long time to get that party back on track.

MichaelS Posted August 17, 2004 #11 Share Posted August 17, 2004 Barry White passed away at the age of 58 on the 4th July 2003 Ok, that explains why I wasn't aware of it. I pretty much took the summer of 2003 off from EVERYTHING. Needed to kinda take an inner journey... and escape from the stupidity that surrounded me that year. Another great I'm going to miss is Cab Calloway.
