The most dangerous campsite in the world?

Still Waters

Recommended Posts

For many people, a camping trip is enough to get them sweating before they've even put up a tent pole.

But for these daredevil explorers, scaling cliffs and pitching tents at the height of more than 300 double decker buses is just a normal day at the office.

Hanging precariously in tents off a 4,000ft sheer cliff face, these climbers are chasing the most dangerous big wall climbs ever attempted.

That first picture sure did set my acrophobic hackles on edge... crazy what people do to challenge themselves, but impressive nonetheless.

I don't think 'impressive' is the word I'd use... :P

Ok, at first I thought it was, well a chosen spot for camping. Like, let's go pick a cliff face and hang off it for a week. ACK. Then I realized it was climbing a cliff face for so long it required camping along the way. Still ACK, but in a much cooler way.

What the hell is wrong with these people? I can think of an easier way to commit suicide...some way less strenuous, anyway!

Know what that means? You would have to camp sober.

Camping sober, no scarier thought.

All fun and games until one night you forget where you're at and stumble outside to take a leak.
