A good example of what camera drones have added to our being able to picture and understand ruins.

A little off topic here as it is not about ancient ruins but pretty neat nonetheless and on google earth. Have a look folks.

Natural, not anthropogenic. Thus, not consistent with Pax Unum's topic.

I came across what appears to be a large ancient city at these coordinates - 11°28'49.40" S  77°06'01.50" W

If anyone knows anything about this site I'd like to have more information, or at least verification that it is ancient in nature.

It's located in Peru.

Wow, those are some very strange features, some don't even look real. One of them is on the side of a mountain, I'd sure like to have some info on this.

I will always say that the ancient civilized people were/are far beyond us in stone building!
It really is impressive!

They were more patient, took their time and knew it would take a while. Not a sloppy rush like today.

Yeah, well the desired result is/was different. Where they wanted a stable, long lasting structure, modern builders are more concerned with getting their check.

I believe this might be the ruins of the Paracas culture which was an Andean society existing between approximately 800 BCE and 100 BCE,
