a dream of zen

The master leaned to his image in the pond,

Murmuring lips hardly moving..

Am i ye or is ye i

Reflective,

reflection in great serenity,

in sweet timeless peacefulness,

none a ripple respond...

nothing answered...

Reflection,

reflective question conjured a voice,

Who is ye that i be ye

Who is ye that be i

Who is i that i be ye

Who is ye that i be

Who is ye that ye be i

Who is i that ye be

Who is i that ye be ye

Who is i that be ye

speak..

In reflective reflection,

ripples grew to conscious waves,

In a vivid slice,

splinters of serenity shattered in the multitude of silence...

I am ye who is..

Where here is..

Where time meets..

Day after and Tomorrow

is with the source of all created,

Where then is here..

When time meets..

there be nothing here of then

be now...

Upon time in reflective, reflection..

moon lit suprise slide on mirror like surface..

when eyes look to see nothing..

where master be.

Silken movement of reflections,

unveiled an evil shadow of beast or demon,

Fangs that MUST be

as merciless as claws I see..

regretfully only in shadow of what must be..

Sway left

Then right

i ready to flight into reflective path..

as pond readies to celebrate the wet disgrace..

Reflection betrayed master..

Tip toed,

sway right

then left,

in poor imitation of thieves,

Silently stealing away the night..

In reflection..

valley in sleep was rudely awakened,

dreams lost,

the mountains still shook in storms of reflective laughter...

Am i ye or is ye i

I like that ^ :)

One of few that was completed in days instead of.. sometimes years.

 i love is when the words and lines comes in all in place, very rare.

:tu:

That line is not mine,

It's from an old zen document about a famous zen master.
