The Deep Web

Quote: "Beyond the Surface Web lies the Deep Web. It’s a vast region of data, “unknown and hidden” to most search engines. Studies suggest it’s thousands of times bigger than the Surface Web, and it’s filled with valuable, unstructured data"

Hi...

I was reading an Andy McNab book, (SAS stories), and in one part he described using the net to search for info on a certain company, but by using the "Deep Web"... which id never heard of before...apparently most search engines dont scratch the surface for folks looking for REAL info...

Basically I looked into this and... ITS TRUE! Now Im just figuring out how to get started searching, and the reason I post this here, is that potentially...there MUST be more data on UFO's and all the types of stuff we like investigating/reading about.......

see what wiki says: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invisible_Web

The actual site the book mentioned was: http://brightplanet.com/

So if we all figure out how to search the deep web.. maybe we can find some great UFO/ET goodies

Hmmm, this is very interesting. Search engines only give you what they have to offer. I always wondered where "All" of the other info was. Be careful in your search. Sounds very deep and dark, LOL.

I think you'd be surer if you actually read the info on the links :tu:

I have scanned through quite a bit :)...fascinating to say the least...if I wanted to hide truth I would clone it with a 1000 lies...we are still left having to find our way

A friend of mine who is a UNIX admin told me about this a few months ago, I had not heard of it, but he tells me you are best using a browser called onion to access it, which uses Tor for anonymity.

I asked about this in the computers section of the forum a while back ,nobody seemed to have heard of it. I was told by my friend to be careful what you search for as it is not at all censored. Seemingly innocent search terms might turn your hair gray overnight. If it is everything it is claimed to be, I think the search mentioned above for UFO docs and the like would take lifetimes to find what you want. A needle in a haystack would be a cinch by comparison.

Also, if someone wanted to share such a thing, surely a government department or such would just set up their own private network? Why rely on something like this, that seems to have so many shady characters also claimed to be there? Is that not like going away on holiday and leaving the front door open?

Key word again "SHADY" Its always shady when we talk about this subject. Nothing is going to come of this.
