None of the above Posted April 7, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2012 (edited) And there are of course hundreds of types of balloon, made of many different materials, in a multitude of sizes and shapes. Lets not forget the whole EBANI (balloon, balloon column/arch) debarcle! This is just a continuation of that. Everyone has seen 'hundreds of balloons' in flight. But apparently we interpret those experiences differently. If you look at this 'shiney blob' floating around with a short lengh of 'something' also shiney trailing from it and don't think 'balloon' then that's your choice. But anyone seeing said 'shiney blob' and concluding "well that's clearly a terrestrial/E.T species of giant sky jellyfish previously unknown to science is about as credible as those who last year said that escaped balloon columns were something similar. LOL, even ones in red/gold spirals used by MacDonalds resturants! Edite: An 'EBANI' at rest! Edited April 7, 2012 by Atlantia
None of the above Posted April 7, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 7, 2012 (edited) But seriously, the 'balloon' in question looks like an scientific balloon of some sort. Sometimes they are quite 'shiney' and they often have all sorts of bits n' bobs hung under them.
