The Mule Posted August 25, 2012 #260 Share Posted August 25, 2012 Why does torture always have such a negative connotation? Torture can be a good thing!

Miss Shadows Posted August 26, 2012 #264 Share Posted August 26, 2012 Why does torture always have such a negative connotation? Torture can be a good thing! What does anyone have against torture? When I bake cookies I open the little oven vent a minute before I take them out, just to watch my roommate or nieces and nephew if they're over slowly go mad. Speaking of therapy and torture, would it really kill someone to change the magazines in the waiting room now and then? One of these days I'm going to go buy a new one and swap it out for one of the old ones, and we'll just see if time itself ceases to exist, or anarchy descends upon society.
xCrimsonx Posted August 27, 2012 #265 Share Posted August 27, 2012 LOL If Dr's surgeries bought new mags every week they'd go out of buisness. Cross contamination is $$$! XD
Miss Shadows Posted August 29, 2012 #266 Share Posted August 29, 2012 Plus, it's a damn fine TV show so why not? I'm addicted to Deadwood. I shout at the screen if Seth is fighting. "He's got a knife, Seth!" etc. Confuses the neighbours somewhat. Hehehe. The population would be significantly higher if the people with single-digit IQ's in horror movies would just listen to me when I'm shouting at them.

Eldorado Posted August 30, 2012 Author #270 Share Posted August 30, 2012 Dear Dr El. I would like to know why you aren't running this thread anymore? Eldorado Posted August 30, 2012 Author #271 Share Posted August 30, 2012 Dear dr El ( are you still here?) Should I pack up everything and go sailing around the globe? Only if you can afford it and are not running away. And can sail. Sailing ain't as easy you may think. You could wind-up in Guantanamo or worse, Mexico.
Eldorado Posted August 30, 2012 Author #272 Share Posted August 30, 2012 Dr Eldorado.,. Should I or should I not invest in a home brew Bourbon kit?? Despite what my colleague says, no! You could wind-up in Guantanamo or worse, Mexico. Hey, I resemble that statement! In all actuality though, for as bad as it is right now with the cartels and whatnot, there are still parts of the country that are very enjoyable. Still, it's definitely a shame, what's goin' on down there.
Miss Shadows Posted September 1, 2012 #275 Share Posted September 1, 2012 Dear Doctor Eldorado, I have been forever cast into pantry-paranoia by one fateful raisin that looked deceptively similar to a chocolate chip. My faith in the integrity of baked goods has been irreparably damaged, but will I ever be able to snack the same way again?
