libstaK Posted June 25, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Yep Timonthy, for once I can see the bright side of "cloning". So sad to see a whole species dissappear, and poor "lonesome George", I keep thinking of that song "All by myself, Don't wanna be All by myself anymore RIP Old fella.

d e v i c e Posted June 25, 2012 #7 Share Posted June 25, 2012 Well, there's no reason for Lonesome George to feel so lonely anymore. He's with the rest of his beloved clan now - on that big old giant tortoise island, up in the sky. May your soul rest in peace George. Rest in peace.

Junior Chubb Posted June 25, 2012 #9 Share Posted June 25, 2012 RIP George... I have a client who always goes on about George (I think she might have met him once). God she is boring, our next encounter will now be boring with the added bonus of her being emotional, unless she does not know this yet... Shall I tell her?

Troublehalf Posted June 26, 2012 #18 Share Posted June 26, 2012 Couldn't they take some DNA from him and try to clone a turtle? Or is there not enough money in it to make it worth while?
