Of course the most egregious instance of a broken promise came when Obama promised he would not raise taxes on the middle class, yet his Obamacare “mandate,“ now ruled a ”tax” by the highest court in the land, results in the the most “massive tax increase in U.S. history” and  directly affects the middle class.

“The IRS is now the most powerful arm of the federal government,” Beck said.

The people who hate Beck will probably not even listen to this but it is a PERFECT synopsis of exactly how deceitful this administration has been. It is IRREFUTABLE. Great post!

Beck should be regardless. All he did was show the lies with obamas audio clips. He said one thing and the opposite happened. You're right. It's irrefutable no matter who presents this.

I'm interested, as it appears to be totally avoidable and no-one's actually paid it yet.

Imagine that, 2 companies who spend hundreds of millions in advertisments alone per year, somehow get out of having to provide health insurance for thier minium wage workers. Amazing.

I have it on good authority that buying Health insurance will mean not having to pay the fine for not having Health insurance.

Since health insurance companies won't be able to deny you for a pre-existing condition, I imagine that many people will simply pay the fine ( tax ) which would be lower than their health insurance premiums would be. And then if they would have a serious health problem, they would then opt into the system since the health insurance companies would have to accept them.

What part of premium cap don't you guys get? Anybody earning under $80,000 will have a premium of no more than 8% of the annual income a year. No matter what preexisting conditions. For those over that limit... let me put it this way: They must be pretty limited in intelligence if they don't have health insurance anyway. A simple broken bone is generally more expensive to pay out of pocket than 2 years premium.

Even better, what if you decide that the constitution doesnt grant the US government the power to force anyone to buy anything, regardless of this corupted SC decision? The constitution is a fairly easy read, and it doesnt even come close to allowing such tyranny. Oh well, what the heck, the constitution has been down graded to the finest out house wall paper ever made.

The cost will be subsidized by tax credits if you earn less than four times the current poverty level (around $90k for a family of 4).

In all cases - if the cheapest available plan would cost you more than 8% of your salary - then you don't have to buy one and no fine will be applied.

Even better, what if you decide that the constitution doesnt grant the US government the power to force anyone to buy anything, regardless of this corupted SC decision? The constitution is a fairly easy read, and it doesnt even come close to allowing such tyranny. Oh well, what the heck, the constitution has been down graded to the finest out house wall paper ever made.

If it doesn't even come close - then how was I able to predict it before it happened?

What good is that argument when there are exclusions? Once again, middle class and up are going to have to open their wallets for the same people who abuse every other government program. It's one thing t help the poor. It's quite another thing to just keep on giving while expecting nothing of them. Just because your poor doesn't mean you're incapable. It's rewarding failure. It's socialism.

Well the math is either pay for health insurance or pay $695 or 2.5% of your income. Your gross income, not net. Thats pretty massive. Can you direct me to any insurance plans at cost less than $695 a year? So for those of us who understand personal finance it is a massive tax increase or otherwise a massive financial burden if you purchase. Purchasing is stupid when you'll get covered anyway. I understand the righteous, helpful and socialistic choice would be to pay for insurance but the problem is none will. Well all take the fine and the system gets royaly screwed. It's just how it's gonna be. This is completely crazy. Once common sense and facts hit he general populace there will be a major backlash. November can't come to soon.

So you're claiming that the largest tax rise ever recorded in American history is less than 2.5% - and that you'd be able to reach that breathtaking colossal number only on the condition that every single American within the United States decided to drop their healthcare insurance all at the same time?

Or let me put it another way. Politifact says that Reagan made bigger tax increases than that and that anyone saying otherwise is pants on fire lying.

Your gross income x .025 =? Example. $50,000 x .025 = $1,250

It sucks on two levels. First, that's gross income, not net. Second, that's $1250 on top of all the other taxes you pay. Goodbye tax refund. Hello emptier wallet for those who pay quarterly. In fact, it's not even financially beneficial to buy insurance to anyone making less than probably a couple hundred thousand a year. Hmm, I see it now. Sticking the eventual mess to the rich. Just realized that. A little math and a little thinking and obamas ideology just slapped me in the face. It'll be cheaper for us regular joes to take the fine. Assumng you are regular joe, won't you just take the fine? You'll be covered anyway.

Because insurers ant deny coverage for preexisting conditions. Isn't that what's so wonderful and humanitarian about ths law? Once your in the hospital your condition is is pre-existing.

Ah. You probably haven't worked out yet that if you don't have insurance coverage for at least 9 months of every year, then you get fined.

So you can play the "Don't get insured until I need to" game every year. Until the end of March. Then things start getting expensive.

The way the fine works is that you'll get fined if you don't have insurance for at least 9 months out of the 12 months every tax year.

So - if the Tax year is the same as the calendar year - you could not have insurance for Jan and Feb then get insurance if you get ill and not be fined.

However - if you get ill in April and then get insurance - you'd have to pay for insurance and the fine for that tax year, because you'll only be insured for 8 months in that tax year.

Or at least - that's how I think it's been set up - to specifically stop people just buying insurance when they get ill.

It's 95.00 two years from now. A sliding scale up to 2016 at 695. The max is 2085 in 2016. You would get nothing for that.

And since rates have not been set, there is no way to know what premiums would be.

I guess not. Oh well, it the long run I guess it really doesnt matter. We are most likely within a year of a global economic collapse. After that everything will be back to the drawing board.

When the Supreme court is telling you something is Constitutional, then don't you think that there's at least the possibility that it might be?

I didn't just predict that they'd pass it. I predicted that they'd rule it Constitutional because it was no different to being a Tax.

Last time I checked, Taxes were Constitutional.

Last time I checked, Taxes were Constitutional.

Lately there seems to be this tendency with some to claim: What is yours is mine and if you touch mine it is unconstitutional.

Wonder what part of the preamble of the constitution they did not read:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Whatever puts common good ahead of personal good is constitutional by that.
