Making money off the gullible has never been a problem.

Yep thats right Hazz nobody has dropped it on your doorstep for inspection so it must be fake !!!

This is one of an ever growing number of older folk who were actually in positions of military or government employment who have come out and

given their testimony. Sheesh ... so the are all liars ??

Or it could be far more simple. That they looked at the material, found nothing valid in it and allowed him to release his fantasy.

I wonder if they would have taken the same stance should his book not have been labelled as 'science fiction' :)

What did they do 5 years earlier though? WW2, Nazi Scientists invented the "jet" etc, look at the Horten 229, it was the first stealth aircraft. The US has it sitting in one of their hangers. It was tested by Northrop Grumman and passed the radar test. (it's on youtube, very itnresting watch)

compare a pic of the Horten to Kenneth Arnold's UFO Depection, then you know EXACTLY what he saw that day. The first

time i realised it's better to

look at that "UFO = extratrerrestrial"- thing from a more skeptical angle....

(sorry for slightly going off topic there...)

GAO found that:

(1) in 1947, Army regulations required that air accident reports be maintained permanently and although none of the military services filed a report on the Roswell incident, there was no requirement in 1947 to prepare a report on the weather balloon crash;

(2) although some of the records concerning Roswell activities had been destroyed, there was no information available regarding when or under what authority the records were destroyed;

(3) only two government records originating in 1947 have been recovered regarding the Roswell incident;

(4) a 1947 Federal Bureau of Investigations record revealed that the military had reported that an object resembling a high-altitude weather balloon with a radar reflector had been recovered near Roswell; and

(5) a 1947 Air Force report noted the recovery of a flying disc that was later determined by military officials to be a radar-tracking balloon

Hey Psyche, this doesnt sit well with me, lets take the first sentence bolded, an object 'resembling'...just resembling? surely they would/should be certain....if they found a car smashed to pieces would they report wreckage found 'resembling' a car or wreckage found OF a car?

same commenst to an extent for the second bolded sentence about flying disc......why the word 'flying'? :alien:

I've done it, and have signed plenty of logs, too, but I have also tooled around in plenty of vaults and looked through plenty of boxes, especially when I'm the only one who knows what I'm looking for and where it might be.

I've been in large, underground vaults that were built to withstand nuclear blasts, but there's a lot of classified stuff that has been filed away and forgotten, with few people even looking at it. I know because I've seen more of it than I can remember.

you are an intriguing and amazing man, TheMacGuffin...thanks for all your posting on the forum........ :tu:

Good! Maybe we'll see some action.

I saw a comment going "Nazi invented the jet" - Wrong, British engineers invented the jet engine and when they were told "It's too experimental" they went to USA to trade research, the British gave over their research.... Then were blocked entry into USA, and escorted back to their transport. Then USA worked on it, eventually breaking Mach 1. If they had just been fair and given their research to the British, jet engine powered fighters would of been fighting in the Second World War, but, this is America, who then stole and patented penicillin, and for the next 60 years, every pill British citizens and the rest of the world took, money went to them. This is nothing new, USA usually steals technology, that's not 'bad' as it's served them for so well for so long.

Just irked me that comment.

Moving on, there is pretty much little way somebody can get information across, without it finding it's way back to them. Release a PDF with proof and you'll be discovered in no time. Those who are legit and do have information believe book selling is the safe way.... As in, if it's let through, then it's the governments fault, not theirs and they can't be picked up on it. Furthermore, hidden messages and legit information probably are in books but are ignored.

On the other hand, they are profiting from it, so that is always a big negative on "is it legit?". Roswell is the perfect case, nobody can prove it's legit and nobody can prove it isn't. Sure there are people on both sides with slightly more credibility than others....

Oh well.

I said Jet, as in Jet plane.... Not engine. They had them flying first.

So a UFO flies all the way here through 100 of galaxies (? ) or universes and crashes when it gets here. Did the alien forget how to drive the thing.

That link is pretty damning on Schiff.

This is pretty much what I was saying, and it states that the second draft copy was released to the press, not the final copy. It's plain dishonest on the congressman's part.

And he didn't even read the USAF report! I didn't realise that to be honest, but in context it makes sense. Crikey, the congressman was not too big on research was he.

I'm sure that to Phil Klass anything he did was "damning", but not so much to me. He's one of the very few members of Congress who ever made UFOs an issue, and in this case the CIA and Air Force responded with a PR campaign: there's nothing to it at all, go back to sleep. This was what Phil Klass always said, and it follows the recommendations of the 1953 Robertson Committee.

I also noted that the Air Force was very inconsistent, to say the least, in its policies about destroying records, and Schiff found out that no one really wanted to take responsibility for destroying these documents.

Alien spacecraft was trying to veer around the Florida keys but was thrown for a loop by the Bermuda Triangle. When navigation is thwarted at those speeds, one could end up all the way across the country like say in New Mexico.. and while looking at a map, they must have smashed into the dirt.

maybe...... :unsure2: .....it....... :alien: .....was........ :unsure2: ........shot down......

Boyd Bushman, Senior Research Scientist, at Lockheed Martin tells us so.

And (as much as you can believe anyone about anything if you weren't there yourself).... I believe him.

A 'very dear friend' of his, who was a doctor, was treating the pilot who shot it down. And told Bushman about it.

Third hand testimony I know...but Bushman had to be careful about what he said and the way that he said it, because

of his oath of secrecy.

Roswell bit starts at 0:50......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbMf6nms0HU

I have posted this before a couple of times...but this video is special to me...because it was the reason I came off the fence

re. Roswell.....and took it on board that it really did happen.

As for where the Beings and the Craft came from.....Zeta Reticuli Star System, maybe....... :D .......dunno.

We still have all these people stating that they have evidence that the military did collect debris and alien remains from UFO crashes, and I have also seen evidence of this, although the pictures and documents I saw definitely weren't Roswell-related. I have always be impressed by what people like Arthur Exon and Robert Sarbacher said, among many others, and that Andrew Kissner discovered that there was a "shoot them down" policy in effect even in 1947. They WANTED to collect parts and remains from these things to examine, and perhaps they got some:

One very interesting fact about Wright-Patterson concerns politician Barry Goldwater, when he was Senator of Arizona in the 1960s. On more than one occasion he told the story of being denied access to view the secret, underground facilities at the base. He arrived at the base, and made his request to see what was in Hangar-18. This request was forwarded to General Curtis LeMay. LeMay gave Goldwater a resounding answer of "NO!" and told him to never ask again. On an appearance on "Larry King Live," Goldwater stated that LeMay was "mad as hell" at him, and cussed him out for asking. He was told to never ask again.

Some of the unsubstantiated claims dealing with the base's secret operations include the following:

In a 1981 book titled, "Preuves Scientifiques OVNI," author Jean-Charles Fumoux claimed that a man named Leon B. Visse, was given access to a secret room where he saw two dead alien bodies. Visse, who researched cellular genetic material, was called to the base to show experiments of some of his research.

Another unverified report relating to Wright-Patterson was made by researcher Tommy Blann. Blann claims to have interviewed an unnamed Colonel who told him that they did indeed have alien bodies at the base.

A lady named Norma Gardner, who claimed to have worked at the base for years, and had a high security designation, says that her duties included inventory of recovered parts from crashed UFOs. She claims that she saw two dead alien bodies.

Physicist Robert Sarbacher, while a consultant for the Department of Defense's Research and Development Board, told a group of Canadian scientists on September 15, 1950, that the US government did possess crashed saucer debris and alien bodies, and had been attempting to reverse engineer the technology. He claimed that they had not succeeded.

Arthur Exon, a retired Air Force officer, has stated that alien related materials from the Roswell crash had been stored at Wright-Patterson while he was there in 1947. He became a Brigadier General, and in 1964, was named the base commander. He was still denied access to the hidden, secret facilities of the base.

If one considers all of the evidence presented to this point, and still has doubts about the role of Wright-Patterson in storing and controlling access to crashed extraterrestrial vehicles, and alien bodies, consider some of the statements made below, and then I rest my case.

"If you want to know the truth about UFOs... Wright-Patterson is the place to go." Dennis Balthaser

Stanton Friedman, when asked about UFO crash retrievals stated that, "We have probably retrieved dozens of them."

Retired Air Force Captain Robert Collins, who spent six years at Wright-Patterson's FTD, stated that: "I'm convinced that stuff that was recovered from Roswell, and other crashes were put in those vaults."

"The secret goes all the way to the top... the highest state of security, there is," stated Andrew Kissner, former New Mexico State Representative, referring to Wright-Patterson.

Timothy Good had sources who also told him various things about the aliens and various "incidents" in New Mexico, such as two UFOs being shot down in some way. He said they were brought down by regular anti-aircraft fire using proximity fuses, while Kissner also mentioned the use of German surface-to-air missiles.

He also mentioned something I have heard before, that the creatures breathed a mixture of oxygen and helium, but too much nitrogen had a bad effect on them.

http://aboutfacts.net/People81A.htm

I once saw a document myself with handwritten notes on it that mentioned two New Mexico incidents that had been removed from the regular UFO records and classified Top Secret.

Were aliens behind the crash in Roswell, N.M.?

Not sure. I still don't have enough information. 40.56% (8,418 votes)

Without a doubt, the craft was piloted by aliens. 42.36% (8,792 votes)

I'm convinced it was a weather balloon. 17.07% (3,543 votes)

Many things could go wrong for someone traveling that distance, maybe they had problems with earths magnetic field, maybe the they engine failure, one thing is for sure, we don't know square... we never will... still we can guess..
