Still Waters Posted August 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2012 It was a film that has year after year kept many beach goers out of the oceans' water for good. But until now many haven’t known the series of real-life shark attacks in 1916 that sent New Jersey's coast into a panic and are said to have inspired the hair-raising novel and blockbuster thriller: Jaws. It started on July 1st. A 25-year-old swimmer off the town of Beach Haven was pulled from the water by a lifeguard, victim of a shark attack that had been largely unheard of happening in the area. http://www.dailymail...ation-Jaws.html
Simbi Laveau Posted August 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2012 I love sharks. Facinating stuff. I find it hard to believe one ten footer did all of that . I think there may have been two of them ,but none of the experts think so .Interesting.g .
