ET and my 'Curiosity'

Leonard Farra: The search for extraterrestrials is pursued by astronomers, Ufologists and followers of the Ancient Astronaut theory. In an ideal world they would all work together but unfortunately astronomers dismiss the other two lines of research because, in their opinion, all the thousands of reported UFO sightings are explainable and the other theory does not warrant any serious consideration.

This is a very good and insightful Post, thanks Leonard. I especially liked how you effectively showed in the beginning of the post how it is really established SYSTEMS that govern our societies, and not TRUTH. The world was not seriously viewed as being round until the old establishment died out, not because of scientific evidence to the contrary. Funny, how the United States is the only industrialized country left that still says there is no proof or evidence that Extraterrestrials have ever visited the earth. As I shared with Stanton Friedman once, it is not that there is no proof; it is that we don’t have ACCESS to the proof. Keep up the great work sir, the world needs you.

The ancient alien visitation theory has been around for many years, however nothing new is ever written about it. It's true, as far as we know there is no tangible evidence whatsoever that ETs have ever visited the Earth. Some will make wild claims about crashed alien spacecraft, and having afternoon tea with Ooongg from the planet Thaaargggee. But there is never anything tangible to back it up.

Bear in mind there was no TV 5000 years ago, people had little to do in the evening but look up at the stars and let their imaginations run wild. Ahem, maybe with the assistance of some sort of beverage fermented/distilled from local plants.

We hear of people who are convinced that aliens built or helped to build the pyramids. Yet there are no exotic construction materials, no carbon fiber, no composite synthetic materials, no stainless steel screws, just run of the mill stuff that could be found here on Earth at that time.

It's a good fanciful yarn for sure, and it does make some sense that a visiting alien species may give a fledgling sentient species a few simple rules to live by until they "evolve" to a point where they can look after themselves, but evidence of this, no, not in my opinion, for what it's worth.
