It wasn't fake. She's not the type to keep fake spiders laying around the house just to text them to me. She drowned it in Raid shortly after snapping this picture.

Wolfspides are everywhere.

It sure looks like a wolfspider. But a bit hard to tell.

Fast buggars. I'm a creepy crawly fan, but not wolf spiders.

They say they are not a threat to humans but I'm sure they have hunted down some people in packs.

I wanna lean more towards Huntsman than wolf spider. Too stocky for a fishing spider, also, according to the photo.

Huntsman spiders...with frickin laser beams attached to their heads.

I have had run insurance with wolf spiders.  I don't mind them compared to the brown recluse that were running around my house.  I got bit by a black widow this summer.  Hurt like frickin hell!  Bloody things.  Stay outside!
