ThePhantomFlanFlinger Posted August 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2012 A new species of rat that has practically no teeth has been discovered. But no worries, the rat hardly needs them since it feeds on a diet of soft earthworms. The rat, dubbed Paucidentomys vermidax, is a type of shrew rat that lives on Sulawesi Island in Indonesia. It's the first known rodent to lack cheek teeth. http://news.discovery.com/animals/new-rat-species-is-nearly-toothless-120821.html
Mnemonix Posted August 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2012 (edited) Not the kind of rat I'm used to. I suppose the most it could do is nibble you. Edited August 22, 2012 by Lrak
