Are you going to tell me it was any better before?

Is burning up 400 billion a year better then burning up 1.4 trillion a year? (I believe it is.)

Where do you get your logic? That is not what I said. But I am sure that is what you want people to think I said.

Since you misinterpreted my post, there is nothing more to respond to.

IOWs, no that is not what I said. But you may twist and spin to your heart's desire.

I only said that the Stupid and Thoughtless were already taken. As evidenced by polls not changing. Thus, I was assuming that the undecided are those actually being targeted, and that they must not be idiots because they are listening and thinking about what they want to do.

But, you said that was wrong. So the opposite of what I said would mean that the Undecided... the Swing Vote... the Independants... (Who must be those targeted. Why target those who will not change?) are the Stupid and Thoughtless that you were talking about.

How else would someone Logically read your post? I complemented the Undecided and you say they are stupid. Then pretty much say you are undecided....

Are you going to tell me it was any better before?

What your chart shows is in effect what my charts show. Do you even know what you are looking at? Apparently not...so let me eplain it to you please. Your chart indicates that we began sliding into a recession in the fall of 2007. Any guess why that would be? It is because the housing industry took a nose dive. Your chart also shows that the recession continued it's downward slant until about election time 2008 when it took a dramatic free-fall until the fall of 2010 when The Tea Party Movement swept Republicans into the Majority in the House.

Your chart just confirms everything I was saying. Thanks!

in related news:

Mitt Romney said in an interview aired on Sunday that his campaign “doesn’t need a turnaround.” He told CBS News’s “60 Minutes” that he is tied with President Obama; he has a “very effective campaign; it’s doing a very good job;” and all he needs to do to win is keep repeating his plan to restore economic freedom.

That’s an outright denial of political reality, but Mr. Romney’s willingness to stray from the truth is at the root of what’s really going on. His campaign has been losing ground since the two political conventions. All the reliable national polls now show Mr. Obama ahead, and in two cases substantially so — beyond the margin of error. A variety of polls also shows Mr. Obama with growing leads in most of the important swing states.

To some extent, Mr. Romney’s diminishing stature is because of two recent statements that revealed his deficiencies to a newly interested audience. He falsely suggested that the Obama administration was sympathetic to the violent Muslim protests in Libya and Egypt, illustrating his ignorant and opportunistic critique of foreign policy. And he was caught on video belittling nearly half the country for an overreliance on government handouts.

Please allow me to explain further...an analogy might help...So: let's say that you and I are standing on the deck of a cruise ship. I say, Lovely weather today eh? And you say...I heard there was an earthquake this morning and, btw joc, is that an 80 foot tsunami wave I see coming straight for us? Oh my, yes it is, I reply. Wham! The ship sinks. Now you and I are plunging to the depths of the bottom of the ocean. We begin to float back up a few meters and you say. Joc, we are saved, isn't this great? Let's party. Things are great now! I say, Uh, questionmark, we are still deep in the ocean just because the Coast Guard Submarine hooked on and pulled us up a bit isn't the salvation of the ship. What we need is Romney/Ryan 2012 to put this ship in overdrive and get us back to and floating on the surface once again.

Dude, we are still sinking...

Yeh, we need Romney and Ryan, one of whom claims that reducing taxes increases tax revenue (never happened, never will) and the other seez that we don't need health care because we have emergency rooms.

If you want anything to change what you don't need is that pair of clowns.

To answer the question...Why can't Romney break ahead in the polls?...:

The answer is thus: The polls are crap! They are manufactured by the news media which is tilted so far left as to be nothing more than a tool of the Democrat Machine. They always have been, they always will be. The polls are designed to strengthen Obama and weaken the Republican base. These polls mean absolutely NOTHING! Romeny will win in a landslide in November and then we can put this pathetic administration behind us for another 12 or 16 years like we did with Carter. Speaking of Carter...Good God! Is this like the sequel to the same bad movie or what? Deja vu all over again!

And if you can't jump the fence...blame the fence?

Oh, I get it now...

I don't blame the fence, I blame the fence builder...i.e...the Media machine of the left. The Mainstream Media outlets are pro-Democrat apologists...nothing more...they are not 'news reporting agencies'. Not really...they are 'news creating propgandists'. They all say the same thing, because they all think the same way and are all in coordination with each other to affect a particular political outcome. You don't see that I guess.

I agree with "the media" part but am not as partisan, I think they all have a side, Reps and Dems all have their mouth pieces.

Now between you and me, if a Democratic campaign came along and said things like:

I don't care about those in harms way

Troops are not an item on the laundry list

Free care in an emergency room is a form of socialism (2007) and later "uninsured people can get care in emergency rooms(2012)"

Besides a whole list of half baked and not thought through tax reform models, in which "everybody gets a tax break but will keep on paying the same taxes"

What would you say?

Right, and that is what everybody not fanatically GOP is saying right now... besides the 47%.

Please show me where Romney has said any of those things.

Mitt Romney, 2007:

n a 2007 interview with Glenn Beck, Romney called the fact that people without insurance were able to get "free care" in emergency rooms "a form of socialism."

"When they show up at the hospital, they get care. They get free care paid for by you and me. If that's not a form of socialism, I don't know what is," he said at the time. "So my plan did something quite different. It said, you know what? If people can afford to buy insurance ... or if they can pay their own way, then they either buy that insurance or pay their own way, but they no longer look to government to hand out free care. And that, in my opinion, is ultimate conservativism."

Mitt Romney, Sunday night on 60 Minutes.

Pelley: Does the government have a responsibility to provide health care to the 50 million Americans who don't have it today?

Romney: Well, we do provide care for people who don't have insurance, people-- we-- if someone has a heart attack, they don't sit in their apartment and die. We pick them up in an ambulance, and take them to the hospital, and give them care. And different states have different ways of providing for that care.

Pelley: That's the most expensive way to do it. [...]

Romney: Different, again, different states have different ways of doing that.
Some provide that care through clinics. Some provide the care through emergency rooms.
In my state, we found a solution that worked for my state. But I wouldn't take what we did in Massachusetts and say to Texas, "You've got to take the Massachusetts model."

Do you recall the elections of 2010? That is what the elections of 2012 are going to bring...landslide. You wonder why people are interested in this election? You don't live in the US do you? If you are really as clueless as you seem about the most pivotal election in decades, then I don't know what to tell you.

The charts explain when, precisely, the economy began to falter. It had everything to do with Fear of Obama. People simply did not trust Obama and felt their hard earned monies were at risk, so, as the election neared and it became more concrete that Obama was going to win, people protected their assetts by taking them out of the Stock Market. This started a deliaterious effect from which we haven't recovered. Obama, Pelosi, and Reid shoved Obamacare down the throats of a population that wanted none of it...and the end result of that will be a landslide for Romney. Many believe, as do I, that the US will never recover if we suffer 4 more years of Obamanomics. Our Liberty is at stake, Our Economy is at stake.

This election is two trash candidates that aren't a dime's worth of difference between the two of them. I don't know how I sound clueless but that might be the clue you lack. Romney is Obama with some selective decelerations in spending increases he blathers are "spending cuts" and a war on his "global caliphate" while talking out of both sides of his mouth on virtually every single major issue effecting this country today. You're not going to get any salvation from either of these clowns you're going to get a continuation of all of the nation's problems. Romney has the most ridiculous political (and personal) record a politician can have. If you trust him you trust everyone in Washington and that's no way to defend liberty. These politicians are the problem not the solution.

What exactly do you think Romney is going to do different then 0bama? Romney is a globalist, same as 0bama. Works for the same people, fights for the same cause. Romney isnt going to save anything. Our economic situation is a controled demolition. Who ever wins this election is going to finnish what was started under Bush. The destruction of the American dollar.

You are too far down the Conspiracy Theory road for me to answer. You won't see it. You don't see it. So what's the point in my answering with any real thought process behind it?

I love that you democrats refuse to read the polls correctly. I also love that you buy into the myth that Obama has a big lead. It is a fabrication, a myth created buy the MSM to depress republican turnout and it will not work. The lopsided representation of democrats, under 21's, and minorities based on 2008 numbers does not reflect the reality of voter enthusiasm. Neither do the polls reflect the reality that independents historically vote against the incumbent by 2-1 and when the economy is as screwed up as it is now, that number goes to 3-1. The polls will not reflect this fact until a few days before the election.

Now the usual suspects here can weave the myth all they want but the Obama campaign is well aware of the above facts and they are worried. You can enjoy your fantasy all you want question and wookie but the last laugh will be on you, I guarantee it. We'll know who is right in 6 week and I am willing to bet my analysis is the correct one with the wager I offered both f you a while ago. Put up or shut up guys.

What conspiracy? The only conspiracy going on is you thinking you have a choice this coming election. There is nearly no difference between these two men and thier political beliefs. This is a proven fact. Romney is in support of nearly every single thing 0bama has done. There is no point in you answering, cause there is no answer. Youd have to dig pretty deep to find any difference between these two. And even the couple things where they seem to disagree are on matters that will not be changed regardless of what they believe.

Romney supports the patriot act. Supports NDAA, supports the TSA, supported the bail outs, supports 0bama care (being that its nearly identical to Romney care) supports the federal reserve. Supports the reappointment of Ben Bernanky. Supports the wars against Iraq, Afgan, and Lybia. Supports new wars against Syria, and Iran. Supports Q1, Q2 and Q3. Supports giving aid to Alciada to fight in Syria.

Economicaly Romney supports every single thing that was done to destroy this economy. What makes you think he would do anything different then 0bama did. He is openly for all of it.
