'Infinite mirror' art

8 posts in this topic

Approach the strange-looking mirrored hexagonal block, peek through the small window... and it's like looking into a psychedelic Tardis.

The scene - a thousand tiny, diamond-like mirrors that seem to go on forever - is actually a dazzling artwork by Yayoi Kusama.

And the famous piece, 'Infinity Mirror Room - Love Forever', has now gone up for sale for £350,000 by Christie's London.

It is being auctioned next Friday, along with two other impressive works by the eccentric Japanese artist.

Nice but I wouldn't pay that for it.

Now that is really neat. Actual art. Not like some of the crap 'art' monuments we have around here that make me want to puke.

That's cool. We inadvertently put two mirrors in our house that have the same effect with whatever is put in between them. It's fun! :D
