The Cancer Lobby

7 posts in this topic

Just consider formaldehyde, which is found in everything from nail polish to kitchen countertops,

fabric softeners to carpets. Largely because of its use in building materials, we breathe formaldehyde fumes when we’re inside our homes.

Just one other fact you should know: According to government scientists, it causes cancer.

The industry’s strategy is to lobby Congress to cut off money for the Report on Carcinogens, a 500-page consensus document published every two years by the National Institutes of Health, containing the best information about what agents cause cancer. If that sounds like shooting the messenger, well, it is.

We are all doomed from stuff like this to mercury in your dental fillings. No wonder so many people have cancer.

There's a theory that if/when we become functionally immortal (ie no programmed cell death/degradation) and cure everything else the only thing that'll kill us is severe accidents and cancer.

I heard of a news story of Monsanto's GMO-corn is nicknamed "Cancer corn" are linked to cancer, therefore the food we eat may cause cancer in our lifetimes; and the sun can be cancerous when we aren't protected in long periods of exposure to the sun can lead to melanoma or skin cancer. Like Hilander says, we can't fully defend ourselves from cancer no matter how much we want to prevent developing cancer.

The sun is life! The sun is health. Granted, some people are not as well suited to exposure as others due to their skin type but I don't hear about alot of south pacific islanders getting "skin cancer". It just makes me laugh going to the beach watching people smear toxic chemicals over their skin to protect them selves from our main source of life on this planet. Beside vitamin D, who doesn't generally feel better on a nice sunny day as compared to a grey cloudy one.

So many people today believe all the b******t about cancer when the fact is protecting your self from it is really quite simple. All the information needed (thanks to the WWW) is at your finger tips and is actually just a few clicks away. Cancer, being parasitic, attacks the body at its weekest point, and the weekest point is usually apart of us that has been over exposed to toxic elements in our everyday lives. And please believe our enviorment is extremely toxic. Nevermind the s**t food we have to eat, check out whats in all your toiletries or cleaners that you put on or in your bodies everyday, over and over again. We are systematically poisoning ourselves daily and that IMO is what makes us all so subsepitible to cancer

The sad truth is that the cancer industry has become a multi-billion dollar business and although there are many "cures" and "preventive measures" available, the last thing the mainstream medical system wants is a cure. They simply can't afford to lose that much business.
