Profile Picture/Avatar size limitations?

Wanted to update my avatar to something like this:

But even after shaving it down to 90x90 and 155kb (looks kinda crappy that way...) it still says it is too large.

What are the file size/dimension/animation frame limits for avatars?

The size limit for avatars is 100kb with maximum dimensions 200 x 300 px.
