Live shark found on golf course

Still Waters

You’ve heard the saying “it’s raining cats and dogs.” It’s supposed to signify a heavy rainfall. But what does it mean when it starts raining sharks?

That’s exactly what happened Monday at San Juan Hills Golf Club, when a 2-foot-long shark was spotted thrashing about on the 12th tee box.

Probably some college prank.

Pretty little thing tho.

I stay ankle deep in the ocean thanks to sharks. *shudders*

A birdie dropped it. A big birdie, of course. An eagle, maybe an albatross.

They are lucky they got it off the course before the tiger appeared. He's partial to a bit of man-eating shark.

If some stupid human was responsible for doing this, I hope they get dropped from a great height :td:

Back in the 1990s there was a local media report about 'baffled walkers' who discovered 5 (dead) trout in a puddle on the Ridgeway trail.

I've heard stories where a tornado/waterspout will suck up fish or frogs and deposit them on land.

Wouldn't that be an excellent topic for discussion over coffee?

"Yeah, I was playing golf the other day when all of a sudden a shark fell from the sky, and landed right in front of me."

I read of one lady who claimed she was molested by a rogue tiger at a golf club! She managed to take his balls though so it was a happy ending. :) He's not been the same since.

Not to be negative, but since it says nothing about a marine vet looking at it . How do we know when they returned it back to sea , that it didn't die ? It fell from unbelievable heights apparently . Who knows what kind of inner body damage the poor creature has ..

Well I know in golf a bogey is one over a double bogey is 2 over a birdie is one under par, and a eagle is 2 under par? so what in the heck is a leopard shark score?

First it's rose petals, then frogs, then small fish and now a shark.

What next, a whale? :passifier:
