 LMAO!! Wow . . . thank god for God!!

I must have missed the Ark when it left, because I sat and meditated, was a vegetarian, gained two black belts, found the Satanic Bible under our newly moved in house in the suburbs of New Jersey, was a regional wrestling champ for three years and a State champ for one . . . from the age of 8 - 16

Then I found the guitar and spent the next 30 years becoming a musician and eventually a hired gun, touring the world with many famous artists, doing copious amounts of drugs, enjoying the carnal spoils that Life presents you when in the world of Dionysus and Pan.

Around 45 I left it all, cleaned up, and immersed myself fulltime into the occult (which I had dabbled in here and there previously).

I own outright two beautiful homes, one high on the cliffs of the Hudson River, the best family you could ask for, extremely hot wife, both of my son's college funds paid in full, I am fully retired without a worry.

I thank MYSELF for this, not any god, if I were to, it would be Satan, Set, or Lucifer . . . certainly not the Abrahamic god.

WOW, I am truely impressed, Mr Walker sir was nearly converting me, but now I have read this, well, will not be spending the money i have saved for the novel he nearly convinced me to buy, the er, biby, Bible.

I began to read at 23 months old.. By the time I was 2 and a half, I could spell and write.. When I reached 4, I made it into Mensa. I was driving a moped scooter at the age of 5 down the freeway ....... I was running the family business at the age of 6 .. I was visited by what I thought were angels, and they told me I was going to be gods vessel on earth when I was 9 going on 10 I can not only read books, but god gave me the gift to read minds too ..I was hooked up to a computer and it couldn't keep up with me, so it blew up..

God made it possible for me to fly into space without the help of NASA....I was working for the CIA at 12...I have inspired many great minds, they just can't get enough of my talents, because I have so many .. I invented all the flashy gadgets you see on Star Trek when I was 7.... I am still gods vessel, I just wait until he is ready for me lol .... Oh my, that was fun to post :P

My daughter was going on 4 years old when she began to read.. She loves to read all sorts of books.. She loves going to the book fair and is a member of a book club.. Her room is full of books ( childrens books ) She has more books than I can shake a stick at.. Her book case in her bedroom is packed with them, and we have to find her another bookcase for the rest that are all over the place.. Beckys books range from - Dairy of a wimpy kid to kids astronomy She loves every bit of it, but she enjoys playing and going to her friends house..

OMgoodness, I am surrounded by the elite of Mensa. I feel honoured, but also slightly out of place, the best i can add to this is listening to my mother while she read War and Peace to me while I was still in her womb and reciting back to her once the cord was cut.

Satanists and christians and atheists all have a right, a duty, and a responsibilty, to teach their beliefs ot their children. Only where the beliefs create harm that is not acceptable to the laws of the society, are a parents rights to educate their child overruled by law. It is not child abuse to teach a child anything no matter how stupid it is.

Only a person opposed to a certain viewpoint will object to a child being taught that viewpoint/ eg I am a capitalist at heart, but govt schools, and thus myself have to teach a form of socialism in Australia. I object to this, but do it because it is my job to do so. A parent could teach their child either socialism or capitalism or anythng else and another might object..

I would never force my religous beliefs onto my children. I could educate them on it but never say this is this and that is that. Children look up to their parents most of all and what the parent says, they know what they're talking about in the mind of a child and generally accept what they have to say as truth.

Even as far as socialist or capitalist views go, I think they all need to be looked at equally much like religion and have a non biased way to educate all of them.

all my kids think im a fruit loop with what my belief system is and i wouldnt have it any other way....i hate to see children brought up in fear...this is what a lot of mainstream religions do and also i believe they are just another way to control....i agree with letting them know your belief but not only yours but what the world has to offer....i am very fortunate to of made my own choices and been allowed an insight into other forms of religion....i dont think anyone has a right to preach and to make any child feel fear just because mummy and daddy believe what they do...you can teach right and wrong without religion ever being involved x

Because I was busy teaching men and women how to fly planes from the age of 4 - 5... Once I done all that, I fancied a rest, so I took to my moped, and went cruising the freeways

Get to the back of the line.. There is only one of me, no others come close God only needs one vessel.. I am younger and stronger lol :P

And a woman, which i suspect is the real reason it took you five years to get out on the freeway on your moped.

If you believe something/anything, and obviously have rational strong reasons for any such belief, why wouldnt you want and hope your children would share them. Why encourage them to adopt less productive and beneficial beliefs than those which work for you?

The passing on of inner understandings from parent to child, along with learned skills and knolwedge, has been how humanity has progressed until about the late 1800s when Britain and others developed a free universal education system for children..

If you dont pass on your beliefs, ethics, values, moralities etc to a child, someone else will pass on theirs. That's the nature of learned behaviours.

WOW, I am truely impressed, Mr Walker sir was nearly converting me, but now I have read this, well, will not be spending the money i have saved for the novel he nearly convinced me to buy, the er, biby, Bible.

Its funny. I had read many thousands of books, including lady chatterly's lover (banned in australia for many years) before i was an adult or even an older teen, but i had never read the bible. it was never something i had no need for, or interest in. I think coming to the bible as a university educated adult, gave me a different perspective on it, from person reading it from childhood.

my parents had a no censorship policy from the time I could read. I was allowed and encouraged to read whatever i was interested in. My developmental levels self limited what i chose to read, but i still had a huge choice from our public library. I went with my grandmother into the adult section from about the age of five. I picked out books i wanted to read and she borrowed them out in her name. People were not allowed to borrow books from the adult section until they turned 14 Adult here merely means any non childrens book. eg agatha christie, John Creasy, Isaac asimov and arthur c clarke etc. as well as all the classics of literature from dickens to tolstoy and modern classics like lord of the rings . By the time i left home to go to uni aged 17, i had read all the books in the local library, but the university library provided years of reading. Today i utilise 3 public libraries to find books to read.

A 4 year old is not a woman..I favoured flying jumbos, and fighter jets for fun.. I was also preoccupied with writing songs for famous artists.. People like Sir Paul McCartney needed my help around that time.. I wrote the songs, they took the credit, but they gave me royalties.... I was head hunted by men of science to help them with new discoveries in medicine... I barely had time as a child to hopscotch and jump rope..

But your main contention to what you say here has to do with things like teaching a child it is wrong to steal, which in principle it is wrong to steal, that is universally accepted. That it is good to value family and bad to discriminate against certain people etc. All justified universal truths. These are which I am all for.

However, as far as religion goes, I believe that should remain a choice to the individual and solely them once they are capable of making such a decision.

I agree with you, but let's examine this closer.

There was a time when 'stealing' was surviving, men took other men's belongings, women, residences, countries, etc. Because it was best for 'their' tribe and its survival.

So we have morals & ethics that pertain time periods and we see that these standards change with cultural periods and such. In essence there are no universal ethical & moral standards . . . we make them up as we go along!

Of course he is being head hunted by science.. They are usually looking something weird to experiment on ..There is nothing strange or unusual left at Area 51, so Mr Walker can donate his entire body and brain to science, and that will keep them going for 20 years or more lol ... Kidding.. :P

But earlier you said you read all the books in the library, did you library not have the bible? :innocent:

Good question. I never read it, and i cant honestly answer your question. I remember reading the encyclopedia britannica and dictionaries just for the fun of it. Perhaps i missed a book or two.

I should have said that I read all the books in the library which held any interest for me. I might also have missed a few on having a baby or similar, and flower arranging. I wasnt very interested in flower arranging as a child.

The small town public (institute) library was one large room about 20 feet square, with a small room used for the childrens library about 8 foot by 6 foot. In the centre were reference book,s encyclopedias and the like, while all the other books were in book cases on the wall and around the room. It was nealry 60 years ago but i remember the librarian sitting at her desk near the entrance door. They used a card system of loans that had to be recorded and filed by hand.. You had to pay a fee to be a member each year. When it became a govt subsidised library they sold off many of the old books for a few cents. I bought dozens of them. And I still go to library sales. It amazes me, given the value of a new book, that hard back books are often given away, and soft covers are sold for a dollar or two, second hand.

I guess there were only about 10000 books in the total library. Later in life i accumulated a personal library with that many books. Each of my siblings has about the same number, with library rooms in their houses. At present the oldest book I own is Tytler's 'History of scotland" from 1841.

Fortuanltely i live in a small country town without a govt scientist in cooee. I keep my head down and stay off govt lists etc as much as a govt employee can do, I learnt the dangers of disclosure at a very early age when i was first brought to the notice of authorities. Like lazurus Long i considered hiding my identity as it became necessary for the govt to know more and more about us all, but eventualy i decided i only had to hide what I am, not who I am.

I say we should never ever indoctrinate children into a faith EVER. Children should be able to grow up as free thinkers and discover the world for themselves without being told what to believe. Notice how when you're young you'll believe a LOT of bull****? Yeah, the same applies to any belief a pastor, sikkh, Rabbi or whatever the **** throws down your throat. It's an accepted fact that depending on where you live and more importantly who you live with; that you're religious 'beliefs' will be what they are because of these factors, your environment in other words. Is it simply a coincidence that most American children are Christian, or that most children from Afghanistan are Muslim? Surely it must be! Allah/Jesus was calling to them...Yeah right. They were indoctrinated, had it burnt into their minds with a hot rod, so much so that it toasted their brain cells and made a lot of them into reactionist, close minded individuals with hatred and contempt for Non-believers of their faith -one only has to look at the persecution and outlawing of Atheists in both those countries or the idiotic blasphemy laws in the middle east, what year are we living in here, 800 BC?

I was educated in a catholic school, taught my prayers by my grandfather, had to pray every morning at the start of school and at lunch also, had to go to church on Sundays etc. A few years ago, I started getting really nasty thoughts about dead relatives and I remember the moment it hit me - I was about 14 at the time - the moment I was walking upstairs in school and thought "Oh ****, God can see my thoughts, I'm in trouble". I lost sleep and lived in fear for ages, believing that these thoughts were all my fault and that I was going to hell because of them. Now I realise I was just a scared child (The same thing happened to my sister too, only she was only like 7 or 8 and used to come into me at night crying because of it). who prayed and pleased with God to forgive me - and yes, I did pray when I was younger, don't know why, I just did, it was just a typical thing. Anyway, you can imagine it - a child of 14, crying himself to sleep at night, waking up wishing he had never been born, a feeling of horrible guilt and depression in a child who should have been enjoying the best years of his childhood - this went on until about last year maybe.

I never did feel a connection with a god, despite my praying and 'believing'. In reality, I was only praying to save my own ass, reassuring myself that I was forgiven but I never really did feel forgiven and the more I would hang onto it, the more guilty I became as even more Sins came to mind. I look back at the last four years of my life and realise that I could have done so much and regret missing out on so much - I've lost friends because of the effects of the worrying and guilt and keeping reclusive so much - they notice I was very "Emo" at school...and I felt it. Imagine waking up every morning and instantly wanting to cry...not anyone's idea of a 'happy childhood' is it?

It's interesting though now that I think about it - I was pleading with God from the Bible, Yahweh. Why was I not pleading with Allah? because he isn't who I was brought up to believe, it would be likewise for a child in Afghanistan when Yahweh is concerned. So you see, we only fear/pray to and 'love' the gods we are led to believe are watching us, how many Christians on here stop and think "Oh no, I may have upset Apollo today by not believing in him"...I bet none and that's because you're confident he isn't real, because you were not brought up with him!, just the way I was confident as a kid that Yahweh existed and that he was watching over my every 'sin' but really, it was more so fear than anything else that provoked my belief.

We believe what we are raised to believe because we are at a vulnerable time in out lives, we believe in an obese man flying around the world giving toys to people FFS. I never felt a love from a god in my life, despite all my prayers to the god I Was brought up to believe - Yahweh. In fact, I can never say that I was a strong believer at all, I ******* hated church, it sucked huge monkey nuts of epic proportions; I'd have rather been at home playing video games. Despite being brought up as a Catholic with school, communion and confirmation Yadayadaydada, my parents' never enforced the religion onto me, it's just common practice in Ireland, more so a traditional thing - My parents would have sent me to church on sunday's but only so they could have an hours peace from us.

Indoctrinating children is wrong and they should be aloud to explore the world and all of it's religions without having their feeble little minds warped by some **** parent who thinks that because they believe in a religion that their child has to. They can go F...UCK themselves. In fact, everyone who thinks they can spurt their religions around the place can go **** themselves as well, they should keep their religions to themselves.

Leave your kids out of it and let them grow as people, not puppets.

Yes, there may be a few curse words in there but **** it, I'll say whatever the **** I want to ******* say when something as special as my childhood is warped by the traditions and words of some ****s who teach children about such horrible things as hell and the fact that a big hairy guy is watching them while they sleep.

Religion is like a P...enis.

It's okay to have one.

It's okay to be proud of it.

But please, don't wave it around in front of me

and above all, don't try and shove it down me or my children's throats.

P.s, I have no hatred for the good, open minded and humble religious people, just those who think there belief is right and that they need to tell everyone about it.
