Still Waters Posted November 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2012 Scientists have warned of a mystery decline in the nation’s beetles, with three quarters of the most common species recording declines in numbers, with several falling to “endangered” levels. http://www.telegraph...ng-beatles.html
Grandpa Greenman Posted November 18, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2012 They didn't say anything about pesticides. Usually that it is biggest cause of insects being in decline is it not?
freetoroam Posted November 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2012 They didn't say anything about pesticides. Usually that it is biggest cause of insects being in decline is it not? tut tut, they are not going to admit it is their inventions that are wiping out some of the insects. It did not take rocket scientists to find this out, years ago it was mentioned by farmers and people living in rural areas that the pesticides were having a dramatic effect on the insects, some mutated and some are slowly dying out, like the beetle. the crops which have been sprayed with pesticides could quite easily have affected humans, but no doubt the scientists are not going to admit to this one too. freetoroam Posted November 18, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 18, 2012 We still have Ringo and Paul. Well, Paul's double, at least. this just shows why the beetles are being wiped out, look under his foot, he has just squashed one.

little_dreamer Posted November 18, 2012 #8 Share Posted November 18, 2012 Beatles? Well there's only two left now anyway, aren't there? Yes, there's a big difference between the Beatles and beetles. Might want to fix that topic heading.
