Law enforcment agencies want text msg laws

Several law enforcement agencies are asking congress to push for laws to make providers save text messages for two years.

Most providers don't save them at all ,and this looks like a way to fish through texts ,looking for wording that can be exploited .

This is being viewed as yet another big brother move .

One article I read on this said ,"savings will be passed on to customers".

What savings ? They will probably charge us more .

There goes the fourth amendment .

Hmmm... not sure what to make of this.

What I did not know is that some providers do not currently save them at all.

I think they've already passed this through in the UK. Also Internet searches are kept for a certain amount of time as well.

What a colossal waste of energy and money. We obviously have to pay for people to actually review messages?
