Japanese Navy Releases Photo of downed UFO

I came across this post on another site of a report that a UFO had been downed in the ocean near Japan.

I couldn't see a topic here so thought I would share.

http://inothernewz.c...ast-of-okinawa/

Interested to see if anyone here can verify/debunk the story.

Personally I think its a fake report made up by the site author, but interested in others opinions

Hoax. Lens flare.

The second image appears to be the one that is used in the Japanese Navy story, though slightly rotated.

Thank you, google image search.

Im not sure of this websites authenticity, but just did a quick search of one of their stories (Romney food poisoning) and couldn't find any MSM coverage, so i'm leaning toward hoax. Much like the onion.

You probably should have checked their "about us page": HERE.

Oh, and don’t believe anything on this site. It’s all fake, ok?

Why would they hide a UFO? No one is going to freak out, at least not most people because they already think they have been here. Maybe the found something and hope the UFO claim keeps people from finding out. FlyingSaucer.gif

Or maybe, as the site that reported this admits that everything on their site is a hoax, it's just a hoax.

I was hoping it was advertising for the new X-Com PC game.

I've heard a lot of good things about it. For anyone that has played X-Com before this is the same thing with tons more bells and whistles.

I hate these articles, they offer very little proof.

It's because, as already noted in this thread, they made it up. And admit it outright on their "About Us" page.
Our website is devoted to bring our readers the gripping news stories they won’t read anywhere else. That’s because we make the breaking news…literally!

We always strive to bring our loyal readers the very best in pseudo-journalism.

Stole the words right out of my lips (Fingers). It amazes me what some people would consider as being "proof."

You're right- I couldn't find a topic labeled "fuzzy, inconclusive photos" either.

I was more of a Call of Duty man myself. Played 1-4, did the clan thing for years. Loved it!.
