Man's 'uncontrollable flatulence' at work

3 posts in this topic

A Social Security Administration worker has been cited by his superiors for 'conduct unbecoming a federal officer,' relating to his 'uncontrollable flatulence' in the workplace.

The Maryland man, 38, was reportedly hit with a five-page reprimand Dec. 10 that included a meticulously-crafted log of specific dates and times when coworkers observed - or overheard - him 'releasing the awful and unpleasant odor' in his Baltimore office.

He's in good company..... Apparently, Babe Ruth, Marilyn Monroe, Adolf Hitler and even Jessica Simpson are famous 'flatulators'!

Historical comment on the ability to fart at will is observed as early as St.Augustine's City of God (5th century AD). Augustine mentions men who "have such command of their bowels, that they can break wind continuously at will, so as to produce the effect of singing". And according to the venerable Saint, mankind lost that musical ability because of Adam and Eve's disobedience!

"This is God speaking.....Right, that's it - No more anal Hallelujah Choruses from you two. Just ordinary pffffts from now on - and boy, are they gonna stink! Serves you right!"
