F3SS Posted December 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2012 You know, I really don't care who's fault it is for what anymore but real leaders don't act like children. Real leaders act like men wether they can or can't get things done right. What's the point of his roll as president if nothing is ever really his fault. Fiscal issues, military issues, gun running programs ect; you get my point that major bad things have happened in all of those categories and then some and only when he was facing reelection and strictly towards the finish line did you hear him say the buck stops with him. Anytime before that and ever since he won again he never never feels he should take responsibility. What a jerk. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/22/obama-state-of-the-union-_n_2352613.html?icid=maing-grid7%7Cipad%7Cdl1%7Csec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D249283 Mr. Obama repeatedly lost patience with the speaker as negotiations faltered. In an Oval Office meeting last week, he told Mr. Boehner that if the sides didn't reach agreement, he would use his inaugural address and his State of the Union speech to tell the country the Republicans were at fault.
Simbi Laveau Posted December 23, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 23, 2012 Well the GOP refuses to compromise ,but I think the tips attitude falls under the same pouting tantruming politician nonsense. Sir Wearer of Hats Posted December 23, 2012 #3 Share Posted December 23, 2012 This just in .... President is a human being who gets annoyed when people don't do as he wants. Alternatively, noone on either side is willing to move, but Obama's both the bigger stick "I'll call you on your crap in front of the nation".

F3SS Posted December 23, 2012 Author #8 Share Posted December 23, 2012 I'm glad he finally grew a set when it comes to dealing with those republicans. When will he grow the set that allows him to accept blame? The only time I heard anything close to it was regarding Benghazi very close to the election.
Hasina Posted December 23, 2012 #9 Share Posted December 23, 2012 (edited) 'Compromise' coming from the mouth of a politician means: 'give up the majority of your views while the majority of mine stay intact, but if you don't give up your majority view I'll paint you as a uncompromising d-bag.' Yamato Posted December 23, 2012 #10 Share Posted December 23, 2012 'Compromise' coming from the mouth of a politician means: 'give up the majority of your views while the majority of mine stay intact, but if you don't give up your majority view I'll paint you as a uncompromising d-bag.' Or minority view. I never hear the end of minorities getting picked on. Are we a country where the simple majority rules? I think we both hope not.
RavenHawk Posted December 23, 2012 #11 Share Posted December 23, 2012 Raising taxes now for those making $400,000 for the *promise* of possible future cuts later is no compromise. It is clear we need to cut spending, even is it is only $120B across the board. It must be pointed out that the Bush tax cuts only saved individuals about $300 bucks. Obama wants to be able to blame the GOP when taxes go up thousands per family. How will Obama be able to get away with this one? If he does, his actions will just become more blatant and obvious in the next two years.
+and-then Posted December 24, 2012 #12 Share Posted December 24, 2012 I'm just curious if the economy will collapse globally in 2013. The "cliff" silliness is guaranteed to cause US credit rating to slip. Higher interest, more debt. Politicians continue spending like they live in some fantasy land. It really is insanity on display. When it all comes tumbling down and 300 million folks in the US suddenly lose most or all they have, and the violence begins due to hunger.... I wonder who will call for martial law? Beware: Major social reengineering ahead - proceed with caution!
F3SS Posted December 24, 2012 Author #13 Share Posted December 24, 2012 (edited) What exactly are the implications on us if we fall off this so called fiscal cliff? I'm not sure I really understand this fiscal cliff issue. Could our economy seriously collapse in every sense of the word? Is it just that our dollar plummets? Will Obama still make us buy health insurance if we can't really afford it? JK, I know he will. He'd love nothing more than for us to be in such dire straights that he gets to use all his power and rhetoric to fundamentally transform the nation whereas a truly patriotic president would use such a disaster to enact a fundamental restoration. I believe he wants bad things to happen solely to blame and get the country to hate republicans so much that they'll become obsolete enough that the socialist Democratic Party of today will forever remain unchallenged. lightly Posted December 24, 2012 #14 Share Posted December 24, 2012 ok.. time for the crazy conspiracy theory ... i think THE "economy" was set up for a fall. ... the next president WILL BE a republican... and that the severity of the hell about to break loose will be the measure of the "STEPS" taken . ;;; or maybe not. ThickasaBrick Posted December 24, 2012 #15 Share Posted December 24, 2012 I am just hoping that through some sort of national emergency Mr. Obama, I refuse to honor the office of president until the office of president is honorable, doesn't overturn the 22nd amendment. He plays the game like a champ, unfortunately the president should be above games. Politics is one of the dirtiest trades out there and I have trouble trusting anything that any politician says. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...

They ALL do it ,not just the president . Why should the GOP have to compromise when the donkeys won't? However, there have been quite a few things the "president" has been responsible for that he won't admit to. Benghazi? Nope, that was Hillary's fault. Fast and Furious? Nope, not his fault, and we'll never know because he issued executive privilidge (which means he knew about it, or if he truly didn't, then he issued it illegally to cover up the illegal actions of his buddy AG Holder). thewild Posted January 5, 2013 #25 Share Posted January 5, 2013 I dunno...it seems like you get punished for doing better than the poor, but you still aren't rich enough to buy your first house or pay for kid's college..I couldn't even if I wanted to I'm paying my way through nursing school right now and working to help my husband make the rent and utilities. We feed our kids and I have them covered under my insurance. We are working so hard to make our goals but the govmint' makes it harder every year....just pulls that goalpost a little farther away....
